I really like the Kephart design. I have the LT Wright Genesis that is very similar and I love it. It's nice to see a company provide so many option in a blade.
I've wanted this knife for a few years, maybe this year. I also always get bead blasted micarta for the same reason, but in green matte. Thanks for the video Ben.
Well said, thoroughly explained. Good point about the handle and the grip. It’s rare to see someone strike a ferro rod properly where you run the ferro rod along the knife for spark. Good show. Thanks. Tony
I own the Battlelore by BHK it has a 4 1/2" cutting edge I believe so it is great for most camp tasks for me! I just ordered the mini bushcrafter it is a small neck knife with the same design. Hope you had a great thanksgiving! Great video! ~Mayson~
Nice. There are so many options out there for great bushcraft knives. This one looks like it ranks up there with some of the nicer I've seen. Great review bud, see ya on the next one.
Very good presentation. The Battle Horse knife looks to be of a very quality construction. I am going to check on their website to get an idea of pricing. Thanks!
Say Heah Ben, Yeah, I still use my vintages Blind Horse Bushcrafter. Mine is a 4" Blade in O1 and 5/32" thick, Yeah, It's a Lil'tank. Oh, I did have the handle flattened down, and polished, because how the Micarta gets wet, Mine does not slip. And it turned out looking like a High End Kephart. One of my Fav's. 4" blades. But I do like my Bushcraft Knives a little longer. Dilly Dilly.,,.p
Hey Ben. I was just looking at Michigan knife laws and they seem very restrictive. It’s questionable if I could even keep a folding knife in the glove box of my car unless my car is sitting in my driveway.....forget fixed blades. What are your thoughts?
Thanks. Next question would be, can you conceal carry a folder 3” or less? BTW I saw that they repealed the part of the law dealing with switch blades.
Agree 100% im not sure why they don't make these knives blade go all the way to the handle.. Mora knives gets it there blades go all the way no wasted space!!😏
SUV of a knife? Somebody's been watching Gideon's Tactical =) The leather sheath is taco style, right? Have you really gotten frostbite on your hands? I didn't think it healed. Great vid. Keep 'em coming.
The Genesis looks like the Bushcrafter... Bushcrafter was an early Blind Horse model that we still make as Battle Horse and I believe LT also still makes the Bushcrafter.

Tony Patey there really isn’t a right and wrong way. I use different techniques depending on the situation.

more like their HC bushcrafter.
First to watch this awesome video!
thanks for your support Eric.
Stove name please
GStove.
It's 5/32"
And the handle does come 1/4" from the blade . That's how they are able to put there stamp on the knife in the ricasso.
