    KL central was NOT developed by the British. There was an old train station with the beautiful architecture that was built by the British. Please do not ascribe Malaysia s development to Britain. It s really annoying. Britain looted n colonized Malaysia n we build our country ourselves. So pls pls do ur research first.

    Decades before colonizer came, the traders from east and west already contributed to the wealth of Malaya - Some of the Arab, Chinese, japanese and indian traders chose to settle down in Malaya because it was a rich country. The colonizer on the other hand, brought in the slaves from countries they have destroyed/robbed via opium war 1 & 2. Most of the workers/slaves didn’t even have money to eat (comparison with the traders who are filthy rich) but british manipulated their situation by using them to dig the best quality of gold from malaya.
    What the colonized built near the KL library is only a tiny portion of what they have robbed from Malaya. That’s a fact that nobody could deny.

    In Malaysia there's Malay nasi lemak, indian nasi lemak and chinese nasi lemak.
    Chinese charkoaytiau, indian koaytiau goreng, malay koaytiau goreng basah.
    One food has three variations. Different variations with different ingredients, changes from state to state.
    This is the real diversity of our cuisine of different cultures.

    The colonists did not bring in the chinese and indians to develop local economy. Its to loot the natural resources in Malaya namely tin/aluminum where the chinese were brought in to work in the mines, and rubber where indians were brought in to work in the rubber plantations. Malaya used to be one of the world's biggest producers of tin and rubber. These chinese and indian workers were brought in as low paid workers to work for the Brits, and tin and rubber were then looted to fund the british empire. Similar to what they did to India, India used to be one of the riches countries in the world.

    Fun fact. Nasi lemak (nasi means rice, lemak means fat but in culinary world it is associated with coconut cream) is originally a breakfast dish but later on it became so popular that it is consumed even during lunch and dinner (some say it helps to make you sleep because coconut rice makes you sleepy at evening). Roti canai meanwhile is believed to originate from southern India. The word roti means bread and the whole canai in Malay means to flattened. But also some believe Canai is actually Chennai (a region in Southern India). The same roti canai you can find in Singapore but strangely it is called Roti Prata in Singapore.

    I disagree. If there's no colonization, Malaysia and Indonesia probably became one country now. Probably became one of world strongest country. You must think about history and from other perspectives that happened in malaysia and surrounding countries. Theres possibility for everything. One more, Tanah Melayu (Malaysia) since Malacca already one of world trade centre. When Portuguese came, they destroy our Malacca government at that time. You must see history all the way from that time.

    The Dutch stayed in Malaka and the British forced the Dutch to leave it. So the Dutch went to Java/Indonesia and stayed their over 550 years till the US forced the Netherlands to leave Indonesia. My country would have never left Indonesia. They have made Bali a tourist “Paradise”. In the 50’s the Indonesian KNILL soldiers have chosen for the Dutch and converted to Christianity from Islam. Sad but true. The Merdaka was in war with the KNILL. So the Dutch lied to the Moluccans from Ambon. They Told them be a KNILL soldier and Ambon Will be INDEPENDENT. So the Moluccans have killed their even OWN Brothers (Merdeka) in mosque and small children and woman. They have drunk blood from them to get “high”. This black Black black history is deep under ground. Our Government don’t want to talk about that deep black history! But the hypocrites can only talk about Israel and WW2. So what happend in Malaysia and Indonesia has deep wounds. And it should never be forgotten.

    We was colonized by 4 major empayar...
    1-portugis ( Portugal)
    2-deutch. ( Netherland)
    3- British
    4- japan
    Parts of Malaysia history

      The Portugis only ruled Melaka. And the Dutch also ruled Melaka. Except the Brits. But the Brits caused the most havoc and terror. We lost some Malay land and sultanates to the Siamese.

    Hmm we actually influenced British Food , there were no variety in spices found in europe , hence Melaka back then was the trade central for spices and with more spices the less bland the food is

    You should try the Village Park Nasi Lemak and order with their fried chicken. KL central was recently built. But if you want a British built railway station, you should visit the Sultan Abdul Samad building beside the merdeka square. Cao cao(Kaw kaw) is a chinese word meaning very thick or concentrated.

    Locals don't usually visit food centres in tourist areas because these areas are for tourists and tend to be more expensive and tasteless. For traditional and unique food, we go outside the city. You need transport to get around. There is no shortage of such videos in YT. What you are filming is mostly in tourist areas.

    Do you notice that all food handlers wear caps and hand gloves? The surrounding area and toilets are clean. All food handlers must get jabbed. These are the requirements for applying for a food trading license. The health authorities will come to inspect very often. Tourists are safe to consume foods of Malaysia in public. In any food centre, there is a cleanliness report issued by the authority and it is hanged on the wall. A or B or C where A is the most cleanest.

    Other than connections, culture(forced, unwanted not needed), maybe some standards and privileges (also a forced), britain has nothing to do with malaysia's development. Malaya was a peaceful country with great oversea businesses and a bright future in economy, until the european came, stole everything from us charge taxes with guns and cheap promises. We were doing just fine.
    So don't ever say britain's colonization played a big part in the development of Malaysia, such ignorance and low standard won't do for a cheap clickbait and views...shame on you

    • @thatevanguy1480

Did you even watch? coming here, accusing me of cheap clickbait? lol. you want no title on the video? how is the title clickbait? shame on me? haha you're so ridiculous. Get some class and have some respect.

    In malay language, letter C is not pronounced K. Like cat or car. Because the letter K is there for a purpose. Instead C is pronounced like how you say Cherry or Chill.
    Similar to Italians saying Lancia (its not Lansia) or seicento or cinquecento.
    Roti canai is not pronounced kanai. 😂 but its ok, we still can.understand you. But it is still incorrect.

    Hey man.. Gotta correct you on certain things. The brit didn't develop nor build this place.. Most of this places have already existed before British set foot. It was build and develop my Malaysians.. And by Malaysians I mean the Malays.. Chinese.. And Indians.. British didn't do much when they were here..

    • @thatevanguy1480
      @thatevanguy1480  9 днів тому +1

      Ya. I know. I didn't give them credit. Kopitiams, kl central and other things I mentioned...all made by Malaysians. It's just that during the British colonization, more immigrants came in, who are now malaysian. That's the only reason I mentioned it

    • @Ahmadajh66
      @Ahmadajh66 9 днів тому

      @thatevanguy1480 sure man.. No worries.. I was actually mentioning about KL sentral.. You can say 99% of the development you see in Malaysia.. Particularly in KL were the brain Child of our former PM Tun Mahathir.. 4th Prime Minister who reign for 22 years.. So yeah.. Brits left us with nothing.. But maybe the addition to multi racial and also few tips on how to govern..
