    If you are still around during Ramadhan month (starting from early March), you will experience something new too...i.e. Pasar Ramadhan, breaking fast for free at Masjid, breaking fast with locals at Dataran Merdeka or in PutraJaya etc

Here, all stall will compete to provide the best food. a secret that western tourists especially usually overlook... No wonder you'll find food that's tastier and more satisfying than any restaurant or mall. I recommend you also visit Malay street food.

    Hi Evan, you have to remove the paper underneath the white bun before eating the bun. The paper is not edible. It is used for preventing buns stick on steamer during steaming process 😅

    Dude, it will be much better videos if you can leave out political elements from your videos. We here in Malaysia aren’t exactly fans of Donald Trump. Donald Trump has a way of “bullying” smaller nations into accepting America’s way. We as Malaysians totally NOT OK with that.       I'm not a fan of some of his policies but he is better than kamala. He was the better option available.     When you ask Malay or Chinese, they will say Chinese because they are Chinese and usually the food is not halal [for Muslim to eat]. They don't meant Chinese China but Malaysian Chinese. It is also Malaysian food. Malaysian also tend to take good food from other country and modified it to our taste, so it become Malaysian food too 😅

    Seems that you are a real foodie that enjoy good food. If u stay untill this March it will be in ramadhan month... A fasting month for muslim. There will be a food bazaar everywhere selling all kinds of food. In fact it already become a must visit month in calender for tourists.

    Take note that nobody bothers or harass you at any place unlike other countries. Nobody even look at you, you are just another hungry soul hunting for some food with a camera. The vendors are too busy even to notice you. That is the beauty here.

    Better dont ask whether chinese or malaysia.. if u see the seller chinese means the food was prepair bg chinese people and malay prepair from malay/muslim people.. some chinese food malay people dont take 😊.. easy for u to differentiate. 👍

    You passed by an otak-otak stall. Have you tried it? You must! Its fishpaste ground with spices mixed with coconut milk and grilled in a banana leaf. It's one of my personal favourites.

I guess during those old days, very limited resources for them, so “腊肠” the preserve meat sausage is a precious thing.

    Curry puff is originaly a malay food. One of our malay kuih-muih. Even chinese. It's a mixture between malay and indian curry taste.

      yea, true. Penang had amazing food markets but after coming to Kuala Lumpur, i thought it was going to be modern restaurants everywhere. Didn't know KL would have these kinds of markets too until i came here :). SO much more to try here. This is amazing!
