How come that companies can even be presented at NAMM? Doesn't there exist some inspection or something else?

How can you possibly get a booth at NAMM, show your product but not explain ANYTHING about it?!?!? That's insane. WOW. Secret = BUSTED.

Yeah, what is crazy is that they left the Ritter copies up for the whole show but hid the 3 Fodera copies in bags all day Sunday. Great patience Jens.

Somehow RIC keeps this from happening to them (as much)... maybe Jens needs to call John Hall up and have a Q&A.

In other news, Fender designs have been ripped off by approximately six hundred and sixty-six companies.

China has super lax copyright law I think so this kinda thing happens with loads of stuff over there unfortunately. Take the massive World of Warcraft theme park there, that has zero connection with Blizzard Entertainment at all ^ ^ To show them at NAMM is fairly ballsy. Poor Jens :(

I have to say that I'm also guilty in this case, as I had once in the past had a fretless bass hand-made for me based on one of Jen's radical design. Good thing the result was awful as hell and look nothing like the bass it was supposed to be :p plus, it cost me just about US$200 :D

Fender-style instruments like the Precision and Jazz arent registered trademarks, only the fender headstock because Leo Fender didnt the legal precautions, so its ok to make basses simmilar to it. However Jens Ritter probably trademarked/copyrighted his bass designs, thats why its Wrong.
