To be fair .. RE has been coming up with new products and has invested heavily on R&D. Nobody at the moment can beat REs service and dealer network. I love what Yezdi has done with the MOJO power mill. Mojo although a great bike imho just didn't sell in numbers on account of Ltd dealerships and service centers. Can't wait for the Roadking 650 as well.
This guy is one of the best real time reviewers who explains every little thing on the motorcycle in detail, even explaining things while riding. He's a one man show. Absolutely good job buddy.
I read similar comments when Java 42, classic and perak was launched. But Royal Enfield classic reborn, meteor, Himalayan and 650 sales are good why???.
@@isaackumar4568 Because RE has a large service network and wider presence. Their new bikes are greatly improved over the outgoing ones. The 650 twins are really good which is why they topped the sales charts in the UK in their category. I would pick the Himalayan over the Yezdi Adventure because of the larger service network. Also, don't forget that Jawa failed to meet initial demand and had a lot of quality issues which led to poor sales.
@GAMER RAGE I have ridden the BS3 and BS4 Himalayan and never found them to be unrefined but it may be because I am a KTM guy. The Himalayan feels a lot more refined and has less vibrations than KTM. The RE 650 have had very few issues since launch. The 650 twins have been very successful in the international market because it is a solid product for the price. Besides brand value, RE has a larger presence which is why it sells more. I don't know about RE's after sales experience a whole lot, though. I am sure that needs some improvement.

@@isaackumar4568 Look classic legends is just a startup.They are more like a factory custom bike manufacturers.It takes some time for we people to accept them.Even if we compare any vehicle with enfield thier fans would end up saying Made like a gun.To be honest that tagline is gone.Now they are too ignorant.Every brand is ignorant in after sales.Jawa perak was an absolute fun to ride bike and had great potential.People just ignored it because it was a bobber.They do not want something which does not have two seats.
Finally healthy competition for RE. But Himalayan is a time tested workhorse and practically dominates motorcycle rentals for riding across the mountains. Only time will tell about this newbie

I have personally ridden my 2018 Himalayan over 1.5lakh kilometers . And yup i did also get a new chassis , totally free of cost as it was under warranty.

Yezdi has clearly put the console from the other two models into a square box to save cost. I think the Yezdi Adventure should have a console like the one from the KTM 250 Adventure. Simple LCD but easy to read.

Himalyan 450 single cylinder in the works would take on KTM 390. Expected to be 45 hp but will take time to launch.RE was caught napping well done yezdi. The RE Scram will be no match Yezdi Scrambler. Competition is good or else RE will keep selling same engine with new colours for decades

How many Yezdi Adventure is in circulation or running on the road, is it considered in the review against the no's of Himalayan?? Have you considered the availability of spare parts vis-a-vis Himalayan?

You've only talked abt the positives in Yezdi bikes. You should have pointed out some negatives also such as durability, the problem other Jawa bikes have faced with this same engine, especially the big issue of oil leakage and Chain issues, the bike breaking down. I can opt for Yezdi bikes only if it gives the assurance that we won't have to visit service centres frequently.
Can he really talk about durability issues though, pretty sure he just had this bike for a day,you really think he'll be having durability issues in a bike that's almost a month old?
@@premswarooppaul1109 Absolutely. I used to have a 4300K HID headlight on my bike. 4300K is daylight white while 6000K is cool white, similar to LED headlights so my HID was slightly better for fog. But I rode just once in the hills in fog to realise just how bad white light is in such conditions.
Finally whats required for off roading. I am pretty sure this is well designed Mahindra Mojo by Classic legends with off-road aspects under Yezdi brand
I agree with u. This is one aspect which the reviewer has hardly mentioned. Nobody takes a bike off roading all the time. Most of the times, uts the city rides plus an occasional off roading. The performance in city traffic should also been highlighted
Nice video. Yezdi Adventure doesn't come with center stand, so how does fixing puncture work on the rear wheel? Especially when you're out touring and don't have rear paddock stand.
Led headlights range and visibility is poor. Side stand is too lengthy. Unnecessary gear shifting in traffic. Many more points please include that as well

I didn't go for Vstrom due to following. 1 19 inch front wheel 2 gixxer suspension. 3 fairing over time may get lose 4 too much plastic. I didn't go for yezdi for 1 most bikes I checked had a rattle on idling as if connecting rod is lose. 2 after sales service as I had gone in person to the SC here at two different places and spoke to customers. They had issue with parts and after sales service. Hence I bought the rally edition. Happy with it. Smooth and fun bike.
If anyone thinking that 3 nm torque will have a huge impact... Than its wrong . If you want to buy it just go with it. My now owned one and its a beautiful machine
Bro this motorcycle might be good, but things you mentioned for off-roading on Himalayan are crap, i do almost daily off roading on Himalayan, on slow speed on tight turns, and it handles those like anything.
I see all your videos, but this one for the first time seemed like a biased review. Himalayan is a perfect off roader India has, Yezdi Adventure is a proper scrambler engine trying to be a off-roader/Adventure. Also I felt vibrations in the Yezdi engine, it didnt feel comfortable for long rides. Himalayan is much better on the long rides. Although Yedzi will beat Himalayan anytime on the pickup and top speed. But to define Yezdi in one line, its a scrambler not a off-roader.
Its okay brother. We need to accept that the competition has arrived for RE. Himalayan only scores on low end torque which is beneficial in hardcore offroading but how many times one does hardcore offroading. Rest in specs, build quality, feature, performance Yezdi scores over himalayan. Am not saying himalayan is bad. Its just that Yezdi is a tad better than himalayan. This is coming from an enfield owner and I know the quality issues on RE which has never been addressed . Hopefully RE people will do something now..
For me you are totally biased to RE.. Himalayan has more heating issues and vibration , and we had experienced a negative impression on the RE service center.. we have a Himalayan.. but in style I feel Himalayan is good but yezdi is definitely over Himalayan..in all aspects.. In off road both bike performance is good,and two nm torque is not that big difference because Himalayan is also 15 kg more compared to yezdi..

Have you seen how crude some of the welding joints are? Can you give me an example of issues in the Himalayan that RE has not fixed? I want to pick up one of these bikes somewhere down the line.

I've literally waited 7 months for my Himalayan... customized on miy. i loved it... saddling, suspension, tourqey engine... i normally cruise at 90-100 with ease and i don't know how Yezdi performs but when it comes to looks Yezdi adventure is far behind Himalayan. and mine's a granite black 🖤 I'll keep looking back at it when I park it in my garrage or anywhere... But i really miss the 6th gear and top speed just above 130+ where it's not so smooth. brakes are not that great on road but perfect for off roading. mirrors are not that useful for me as I'm a taller rider. it may differ for u. hope it helps u to choose bw these gud machines.
Hi, I have taken a test ride today of both RE Himalayan and Yezdi Adventure and honestly I found Himalayan handling, breaking and suspension better. Yezdi has softer engine and more power but experienced heating issues too much. I need to know if Yezdi Adventure's heating issue is experienced usually by everyone? I can take the decision accordingly.

To early to judge with himalayan. After one year may be we can judge, there are more factor to see like reliability of engine, fit and finish, after sale service etc. Himalayan still has the advantage of number of service center across the country and spare part availabilty and all.

@@premswarooppaul1109 Absolutely. I used to have a 4300K HID headlight on my bike. 4300K is daylight white while 6000K is cool white, similar to LED headlights so my HID was slightly better for fog. But I rode just once in the hills in fog to realise just how bad white light is in such conditions.

I agree with u. This is one aspect which the reviewer has hardly mentioned. Nobody takes a bike off roading all the time. Most of the times, uts the city rides plus an occasional off roading. The performance in city traffic should also been highlighted

Nice video. Yezdi Adventure doesn't come with center stand, so how does fixing puncture work on the rear wheel? Especially when you're out touring and don't have rear paddock stand.

Led headlights range and visibility is poor. Side stand is too lengthy. Unnecessary gear shifting in traffic. Many more points please include that as well

Dam good and smooth bike.
I didn't go for
Vstrom due to following.
1 19 inch front wheel
2 gixxer suspension.
3 fairing over time may get lose
4 too much plastic.
I didn't go for yezdi for
1 most bikes I checked had a rattle on idling as if connecting rod is lose.
2 after sales service as I had gone in person to the SC here at two different places and spoke to customers.
They had issue with parts and after sales service.
Hence I bought the rally edition. Happy with it. Smooth and fun bike.
If anyone thinking that 3 nm torque will have a huge impact... Than its wrong .
If you want to buy it just go with it.
My now owned one and its a beautiful machine

Bro this motorcycle might be good, but things you mentioned for off-roading on Himalayan are crap, i do almost daily off roading on Himalayan, on slow speed on tight turns, and it handles those like anything.

I see all your videos, but this one for the first time seemed like a biased review. Himalayan is a perfect off roader India has, Yezdi Adventure is a proper scrambler engine trying to be a off-roader/Adventure. Also I felt vibrations in the Yezdi engine, it didnt feel comfortable for long rides. Himalayan is much better on the long rides. Although Yedzi will beat Himalayan anytime on the pickup and top speed. But to define Yezdi in one line, its a scrambler not a off-roader.
Its okay brother. We need to accept that the competition has arrived for RE. Himalayan only scores on low end torque which is beneficial in hardcore offroading but how many times one does hardcore offroading. Rest in specs, build quality, feature, performance Yezdi scores over himalayan. Am not saying himalayan is bad. Its just that Yezdi is a tad better than himalayan. This is coming from an enfield owner and I know the quality issues on RE which has never been addressed . Hopefully RE people will do something now..
For me you are totally biased to RE..
Himalayan has more heating issues and vibration , and we had experienced a negative impression on the RE service center..
we have a Himalayan.. but in style I feel Himalayan is good but yezdi is definitely over Himalayan..in all aspects..
In off road both bike performance is good,and two nm torque is not that big difference because Himalayan is also 15 kg more compared to yezdi..

Have you seen how crude some of the welding joints are? Can you give me an example of issues in the Himalayan that RE has not fixed? I want to pick up one of these bikes somewhere down the line.

Also, the vibrations on it are mild but I ride a KTM so obviously the Himalayan will feel smoother to me. Also, how is the weight difference between the Yezdi Adventure (188 kg) and BS6 Himalayan (199 kg) 15 kg?
What is so good about led headlamps? I somehow find a well-lit halogen more comfortable in spotting.

I've literally waited 7 months for my Himalayan... customized on miy. i loved it... saddling, suspension, tourqey engine... i normally cruise at 90-100 with ease and i don't know how Yezdi performs but when it comes to looks Yezdi adventure is far behind Himalayan. and mine's a granite black 🖤 I'll keep looking back at it when I park it in my garrage or anywhere... But i really miss the 6th gear and top speed just above 130+ where it's not so smooth. brakes are not that great on road but perfect for off roading. mirrors are not that useful for me as I'm a taller rider. it may differ for u. hope it helps u to choose bw these gud machines.

Hi, I have taken a test ride today of both RE Himalayan and Yezdi Adventure and honestly I found Himalayan handling, breaking and suspension better. Yezdi has softer engine and more power but experienced heating issues too much. I need to know if Yezdi Adventure's heating issue is experienced usually by everyone? I can take the decision accordingly.

To early to judge with himalayan. After one year may be we can judge, there are more factor to see like reliability of engine, fit and finish, after sale service etc. Himalayan still has the advantage of number of service center across the country and spare part availabilty and all.
