Here's the most honest and important comparison point between Himalayan and Yezdi Adventure is that if you're riding Solo then go for Yezdi. If riding with a pillion then blindly go for Himalayan.

Great video Strell! I just want to ask a question about the suspension setup. I felt that it was quite bouncy especially at medium to high speeds, is that something you experienced as well?
Hi this is not Strell. But to answer the question, yes it does feel bouncy because of the rebound. If u check your manual, it shows how to adjust the rear suspension using a tool available in the stock toolkit. Also, the bike loves to have weight on it, so if u have a pillion or some saddle bags, you'll notice how the suspension feels a lot more calmer. Hope this helps!
There is some serious wind blast with this bike , first I thought its my helmet is reason later my friends rode they also said the same issue , visor need to re design and improve the aerodynamics for sure, Still dont know why no one is speaking about this wind blast
Hey stell need your suggestion I'm 6'3 and I'm confused between the yezdi adv, Ktm adv 250 and Himalayan I need for more of city commute and a little touring and nil/min off roading I'm from Bangalore so uk the traffic too What do you suggest I should go for?
In off road mode only rear ABS turns off. No offense but this video felt incomplete, somehow Sagar Sheldekar's video described the bike more properly & briefly covering all aspects.
From the distance the Yezdis look way more premium than REs. But when you get closer those quality issues get noticable. But not like REs. Himalayan always looks like a used bike even in showroom condition. That's the case with classic too. Only 650s dont have this issue.
I think the centre of gravity is quite high, little tough to take u turn at low speed. And engine made lot of noise and knocking a lot... Test drove this one, still the old himalayan felt better, I am not RE fan... Yezdi is actually quite late! himalayan is bringing something new now! Yezdi this late and not offering anything different, no usp!
I have done ladakh trip with Himalayan, I am only 5.5 feet, it is difficult for short riders plus 200+ kg. Yazdi is almost 12kg lighter and has lesser seat Height
It's not really an issue. It's more of a learning curve. First of all, the engine doesn't want to go below 3k rpm, else it'll knock and shut down. Second, 1st and 2nd gears are short and rest are long gears. Third, the throttle is sensitive. First time I rode it in traffic, I got frustrated because the bike wants to accelerate at the slightest twist and engine revs up quickly. So you need to change gears quickly. In addition to that, because it doesn't want to go below 3k, you cant leave it in 2nd gear and roll slowly. However, you'll get adjusted to the throttle sensitivity. Now I can maintain a steady slow speed in 1st gear without engine revving up. Keeping throttle steady is the key.
Yezdi clutches are harder, do you really think this bike's clutch is good for city rides ? I took test ride, but I really found it harder and we have to pull the lever till end, Honda on the other hand has half clutch, which makes city rides step ahead in comfort... Please suggest !!
This is not the hardest clutch. So it won't be difficult to use for city. Honda's clutch is generally light and effortless with its gearbox set up. I found KTM to be the tightest.
Another concern is spoke wheel guys, tiger is also adv but still has alloy wheels, here if puncture happens then you know the efforts, yezdi or RE both can bring alloy rims to their Adv, then the sells will increase definitely.
