    As one of the unfortunate customer of RE Himalayan, I don’t wanted to face the trauma of owning Himalayan Again… fixed my purchase on hero Xpulse but then yezdi Launched adventure and took test rides and waited for some reviews.. as the engine was tried and tested I bought this beauty last month only… it ticks all the right boxes except that I faced windblast on normal 50-60 speeds too, I hope windshield extender would solve this issue.. (i am 6.2 feet)… you have to downshift if you are slowing down.. don’t expect bike to run in any gear of your choice.. you have to downshift and match its rev otherwise you will end up stalling it.. there are no issues with it other mentioned above.. it cruises easily on highway and makes your ride comfortable.

    Here's the most honest and important comparison point between Himalayan and Yezdi Adventure is that if you're riding Solo then go for Yezdi. If riding with a pillion then blindly go for Himalayan.

      @@drsrivadhanamk669 because of the torque at lower end of the rev range. Trust me it helps a lot when you're not twisting your throttle much after deaccelerating everytime. Tbh I'm surprised the Himalayan is tad bit smoother than the Yezdi. I didn't like the yezdi or Jawa engines at all. Excess and annoying knocking issues at lower gears. • @mrvoiceoverofficial
      @mrvoiceoverofficial Рік тому

      Hi this is not Strell. But to answer the question, yes it does feel bouncy because of the rebound. If u check your manual, it shows how to adjust the rear suspension using a tool available in the stock toolkit. Also, the bike loves to have weight on it, so if u have a pillion or some saddle bags, you'll notice how the suspension feels a lot more calmer. Hope this helps!

I had also tested this one 3 months back and it was my first hand experience of any adventure motorcycle and when I took U turn I was about to fall but controlled myself in time but my right leg started paining as my nerves stood up as soon as I took U turn! From the distance the Yezdis look way more premium than REs. But when you get closer those quality issues get noticable. But not like REs. Himalayan always looks like a used bike even in showroom condition. That's the case with classic too. Only 650s dont have this issue.

      Another concern is spoke wheel guys, tiger is also adv but still has alloy wheels, here if puncture happens then you know the efforts, yezdi or RE both can bring alloy rims to their Adv, then the sells will increase definitely.

      @@gswrider2179 if you damage alloy wheel going off road, you need to replace the entire wheel. In case of spoke wheel, you need to replace the damaged spokes only. That's why.

    Is there really an torque issues or fueling issues

    • @isotropicantenna
      @isotropicantenna 2 роки тому +3

      It's not really an issue. It's more of a learning curve.
      First of all, the engine doesn't want to go below 3k rpm, else it'll knock and shut down.
      Second, 1st and 2nd gears are short and rest are long gears.
      Third, the throttle is sensitive.
      First time I rode it in traffic, I got frustrated because the bike wants to accelerate at the slightest twist and engine revs up quickly. So you need to change gears quickly. In addition to that, because it doesn't want to go below 3k, you cant leave it in 2nd gear and roll slowly.
      However, you'll get adjusted to the throttle sensitivity. Now I can maintain a steady slow speed in 1st gear without engine revving up. Keeping throttle steady is the key.
