8:38 I've done something similar to the Jeep. coming up a narrow back road and realised a bit late that I would not be able to stop in time before meeting the next road with a stop sign for me. Put it in the snow bank just before the sign. Luckily someone came along and pulled me right out. Better than T-boning a car.
I was only joking but he really did the right thing, especially when you have a Jeep.
I'm a long haul trucker. A few weeks ago, I was in North Dakota and there was some freezing fog on the road that I didn't realize, with snow banks along the road. I had just unloaded, making my way out of town, when a pickup cut in front of me to turn, and I TRIED to stop - ain't no stoppin me now!! I turned the steering wheel hard right (with zero effect on steering), and the tire caught the snow and slowed me down..
@@TexJester-no8th Snow sometimes can help a lot but i think the only one who needs help is the guy who cut you off.

Without ‘positraction’, or ‘one wheel drive’. 350 or 396 v8.
Yeah, power would usually only make it to one wheel in a slippage situation like a burnout, I'm surprised he doesn't know that.
@@Ducky69247 From before his birth and anther continent? I forgive him. I recall the 396 variant engines were somewhat delicate compared to the competition. A favorite for ‘laying rubber’ was to sway the body when starting to allow the tires to lose traction and one to spin. Even worked with my 283 Nova.

@@Ducky69247 All I meant was that from my old age he’s just a kid, and I suspect three were and are damn few Chevelles there, ever. More Ladas and other ugly Soviet cars. Converse, I cannot recognize most cars on the roads in any country. I do enjoy his sense of humor.

9:21 PSA in the US at least, if you can avoid an accident and choose not to, you are at fault. Deciding “I didn’t want that guy to pull in front of me so I refused to slow and let it happen” will get you an at-fault accident.
I didn`t know that, they are doing this so much i thought the other car is always at fault so i thought that`s why they are not reacting at all and just let it happen.

Open differential on the Chevelle; most of the power goes to the wheel with the least resistive torque. If you’ve got one wheel on dry asphalt and one on sheet ice, you’re going nowhere.

I can say that the red muscle machine @ 7:03 is a Chevrolet nova probably 69 70 model with a lot of ponies under the bonnet. The driver paid for the whole throttle and the driver’s gonna use it.
He also paid for all four tires but only felt like using one to do a burn out.
I feel like he can do a lot better burnout. 😂

I believe that classic car doing the burnout was a Chevy Chevelle. I'm not sure what year exactly but probably from around 1970

My interpretation of 8:30 is that the guy in the jeep was unable to slow/stop because the road was too slippery, so he drove into the snow bank to slow down. It's an ugly solution, but it's better than rear-ending the dashcam guy, which might have happened otherwise.

6:00 There is zero legal requirement for regular drivers to yield multiple lanes to trucks that can't maintain their own. Truck is 100% at fault. He's also in the outside lane and could have taken that turn much wider.
Of course there is zero legal requirement but it`s just nice thing to do. That`s what i meant.
