    Does it matter what kind of table surface the cards are on? For example will this work on a laminate countertop or a dinner tray or felt?

    • @MatthewFurman
      @MatthewFurman  4 роки тому +1

      Hi, you need some sort of cloth surface. Otherwise the cards will slip

      I was doing it on the most slippery surface and having so much trouble! Is it possible to master doing this on something smooth?

    Hi Matt have you ever used the classic pass. Just a random question. It took me actually 2 months and two weeks to learn it. It is one of the hardest moves in card magic. :)

    Nice Video Matthew, can't say I've ever struggled spreading cards, it came quite natural to me but then again I've handled cards from a very young age - I'm sure it will help others especially if your new to cards, I always work on a close up pad but even as a child I could do this on a hard surface, these days id rather keep my cards clean and in good condition and a soft surface is best for this as you know - Matthew you have been too generous! good luck to the next 4 winners! just wanted to say thank you for the Faro tutorial once again - I always struggled with this but now can faro perfectly every time - I've also learned through my own experiments what can be achieved with a perfect faro and can't stop playing with it.. sorry if I've bored anyone but this is My favourite channel 8-)

      Hi Phil, thank you for your nice words. Always happy to hear from you. Spreading the cards is pretty easy yet gets a great response when I do it. Have you found the same? Glad you can faro, it is super fun.

      Thanks Matthew and yeah its a nice visual and gets great reactions especially if you've restored the deck too new deck order, it's the best way to display every single card in My opinion, I also love the le paul spread! had to work through a couple of decks before getting that one down ha haa I feel so naked without a deck of cards 8-)

    😢😢 Oh! No! Haha! First 5, I usually sleep when you release video's! Quite unfortunate, But I'll try. It's called Ribbon spread right? I have done some cardistry moves with it like, Creating a ramp and using snap to flick card like a jet. It's cool.

    • @MatthewFurman
      @MatthewFurman  6 років тому +1

      Yeah, some call it a ribbon spread. Good point. Maybe i will release a video at a completely different time.
