Omg. Couldn’t have said better myself.. his vibes are super cool. I don’t know why but I couldn’t stop having a big ear to ear smile 😊 just like this for the whole video.. it was like meditation 😅. He could record mediation videos for sure.
I touched cards for the first time yesterday when I played with my family, and today while playing with my family I showed off my new shuffling skills and everyone was shocked... Thanks for this awesome tutorial man! It's seriously amazing...
I can’t believe these tutorials! I’ve been doing magic for 6 years and I would’ve loved having a teacher like you when I started😭 the way you structure the tutorial and everything is spot on!
I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial! I tried to cover as much as I could. 😁 If you already learned how to shuffle, were there any subtle new tricks you’ve learned from this video?
There's 2 things ive noticed that are essential during the riffle shuffle to get a good bridge: 1. When riffling, the more consistent your riffle is, ie the closer the cards alternate 1 by 1 with each half of the pack, the longer the riffle will last. If you have clumps of cards in your riffle then the bridge won't work too well. Getting the cards to fall 1 by 1 is not an easy feat, especially by a beginner such as my self. 2. When riffling, make sure your cards are meeting each other as close to the top as possible. If your cards are overlapping too far then the bridge won't work well. I have been practicing for a day or two now and these are 2 important things I have noticed that weren't mentioned in this video. Love your content btw Bao, keep it up!!!
I also recently tried learning the Faro shuffle (which should make the cards perfectly interleave if done right... though I'm far from it). The post-Faro shuffle bridge is much more satisfying than my terrible riffle-shuffle bridge for this exact reason. Too many clumps of cards. when I riffle 😭
After YEARS of trying to learn the riffle shuffle, I was finally able to do it after watching your video. I watched several other tutorials and yours was the only one that actually worked from me. Thank you SO much, it's been my goal to learn to riffle shuffle for a long time. I subscribed :)
Me trying to do the riffle: "it's the cards, they're the wrong size" "no it's my fingers, my fingers aren't long enough" "no its definitely the cards, it's the wrong type of cards" "stupid chubby fingers"
Bruh I can't do the riffle card and I totally ruin my brothers card it's so hard to do the riffle card but I can do a little pls teach me a good trick. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊💩
Thank you so much for this tutorial! As a musician I'm trying to expand my hobbies, and I'm now able to get the basic mechanics of the riffle shuffle down. I use to do card tricks awhile back but stopped since I got discouraged. Now I want to become a master of cards like you are. Would love to see some new videos on card tricks that require no setup. I think it's always cool being able to impress people by letting the spectator shuffle the deck. You've definitely earned a subscriber by being such an amazing teacher!! Take care.
It was very impressive that he shuffled the cards for the first time and then a second time at the same time. Shuffle the cards twice in a row. I love itt..oh my God ♥️♠️♣️🎩🎭
Also, something I'm learning as I go along - if you have larger hands, placing your pinky on the bottom corner of the card instead of wrapping it around the bottom (kind of like how you position it with the Dealer's Grip) makes it easier to get your thumb on there sideways. 🙂
Not just your card as you said plastic I have written 3 books one of them just focusing regarding muscles and joints of hands to make them strong and fast for those with small hands and weak fingers
As someone who now has a lot of free time, I recently started "Cardisty" and i just started just yesterday and got the hang of the riffle shuffle thanks to this tutorial, but i can't for the life of me figure out how to do the bridge or cascade finish. Not sure if this is a common problem for people. I think the main problem is that i struggle maintaining a good 3 fingered grip after the riffle shuffle and everything just falls apart. Although shuffling cards is frustrating and tricky it can also be really fun especially when it finally clicks. Great video you Bao!
bro i came in absolutely knowing how to even shuffle on the table but just walking through this video and practicing for a few minutes, i could already do the riffle shuffle in less than 30min🤯🤯
Hi Bao. I am learning how to play poker so I came to your channel and learned the riffle with the bridge. I'll let you know when I learne the fan. That might intimidate my opponents! Thanks and you have a great channel@
i learned how to do over hand shuffles playing Magic The Gathering back in highschool. as lame as that sounds, it was the only way to shuffle without bending the cards or taking forever doing pile shuffles. thanks for the vid! i actually just fidget a lot and am also a fan of making simple tasks look steezy/stylish so these techniques were for sure fun to learn.
Thanks. I've been getting into poker and I wanted to know how to shuffles the cards. Now I need to learn how to make a pair of aces magically appear. Then I have to learn how to make myself disappear when I enviably raise suspension after revealing all the cards and there are five aces.
dude your literally awesome I watched the institute of magic movie last night and it reminded me of how I used to love stuff like this. Great movie and now I need to start learning lol
Oooooooh! This is so cool sir😎. When ever I saw the riffle shuffle I got goosebumps and I am so excited and the cards fall down 😅 thank you very much for this . I have a brother who can do the bridge now I can do it too and now I can show off thanks you sir I just fall in love with this trick thanks you sir ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
So awesome! You are good teacher. Your pace is easy to follow; you cover it step by step. I like your straightforward style. Thanks thanks You got a new fan. I’m just starting out learning. I had a fall with small brain injury. Glad I found this vid and your sharing

I've been trying to learn a proper shuffle for years. This video was exactly what I needed. Thank you very much, Bao! You're an excellent teacher!
I’m happy that you found this video helpful. I included everything I wish I had known as a beginner 😁
YES
Lol years? my whole life
I can’t believe these tutorials! I’ve been doing magic for 6 years and I would’ve loved having a teacher like you when I started😭 the way you structure the tutorial and everything is spot on!
I feel the same! This is why I started making these videos :) Happy to hear that you enjoy them!
You do magic as well?
@Billy Aubin YES EINSTEIN
This video saved me lots of frustration doing a thumb fan. The “plastic cards won’t work” tip was a lifesaver. 😍
I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial! I tried to cover as much as I could. 😁
If you already learned how to shuffle, were there any subtle new tricks you’ve learned from this video?
Bao Magic You are do good
My friend, Bao is a Vietnamese name. Are you Vietnamese?
Your voice ... I’ll tell you about it when I wake up. But don’t wake me up.
What are your cards?
Monsieur LÉZAL those are the Virts v1. No longer in print!

How did you get the cards to fall 1 by 1? I always have cards that stick together and fall in packs of 3 to 4 cards. Been practicing for 2 hours now.
@@stonearchitect116 he’s practiced more than you 🤯

Thank you for being complete. The details you covered make the difference.

@@monsterblack5026 Maybe try using a better grip at the bottom of half the deck, it helped me so hope it’s useful to you :D
The mirrored view is perfect for learning, such a smart idea 👍👍
I’m glad this helped! It was my girlfriend’s suggestion since she was having trouble learning it in standard view :)
I thought my hands are too small for fanning cards, but with this tutorial I can do a big fan with no problem.
Thanks a lot!
Bao seems like a really chill guy and he explains everything so well.
Bao’s enthusiasm for cards is so contagious, no matter how miserable your move is you never stop smiling!!
Hey I really like the soft spoken videos! It gives me low key ASMR! More please!

The only cards I have at home are Yu Gi Oh cards 😂😂. Good stuff Bao! I'm actually down to get back into cardistry!
Hahaha Yu Gi Oh cards will do for the first 2 shuffles 😅
Was watching since in yugioh its required to shuffle your deck before commencing a match and when a search has been done😂
I like yu gi oh cards

Here we use kinda reverse verison of overhand shuffle. Instead of piling off cards when lifting them we dropping them down by small chunks.
