Conheci as músicas da banda aos dez anos, porque meu irmão conseguiu um LP ( hoje chamado só por vinil) , e fazia os alto falantes tremerem com o rock eletrizante deles!! Comecei a prestar atenção nos solos, nas melodias, nos arranjos, e eles fizeram parte da minha formação musical , durante a adolescência! For a guy who is almost 80 -- Ian Gillan sounds just fine. This generation of rockers is really in their last hurrah. Maybe another two to three years and it will all end. What a ride.

Poor Gillan. He should've retired many years ago, but I guess this is what keeps him going after the death of his wife in November 2022. Everyone else is still top of their game.
The man is 78 years old, FFS. He owes you, me and the audience nothing. And I will say his pitch is pretty good here. Power is all but gone because an octogenarian male was not meant to be howling like a 25-year-old. I think he is singing just fine here.
