Younger people usually end up in jobs that pay more afterwards, but older people, who vote more, don't see prices returning to what they used to be, and still blame you for that even if their savings have actually grown significantly. The problem with presiding over an inflationary period is - Even when you get it under control - Prices never go back down to where they were.
Younger people usually end up in jobs that pay more afterwards, but older people, who vote more, don't see prices returning to what they used to be, and still blame you for that even if their savings have actually grown significantly. (Which they haven't done for the last 20 years).
