I’ve had my wagon for well over 4 years now and not had any problems with the wheels caving in. I’ve hauled two kids and beach gear across several Nevada campgrounds and parks, as well as California beaches and parking lots. It’s endured several seasons of youth sports and summers of renaissance fair. It’s hauled well over 100 lbs of gear and food stuffs and loaded coolers, and it’s almost floated over loose sand, gravel, and dirt due to the wide wheels. I get that narrow, solid wheels are probably better suited for your obligations and preferences, but just to be fair to the wide wheels, they suit my needs and preferences perfectly. They see a tough trek ahead and welcome the challenge. My two kiddos almost always volunteer to pull it (unless it’s the end of the day and they want a ride 😊). Not saying there’s anything wrong with your choice to swap. The supplied wheels definitely didn’t hold up for you, especially in the stated time frame. That’s a bummer. I like your solution though, with the spacers. My only issue is I need another wagon now that both kiddos are in sports 😂😂
Nice, i was given the "regular" red Ozark wagon and I'm looking around for ideas on how to fit bigger wheels on it. I will need to replace the assembly for the wheels as the ones on there are not wide enough for anything else. In short, I'll probably leave it be. I doubt I'll find a wagon being parted out lol
Dude your a genius i need replacements aswell. Iv completely and utterly beat my wheels to death and will the 8 inch you linked worked fine? Which are you rocking?
Super disappointment, I hoped you would show us how to remove the wheels and replace the wheels including how to work with the necessary hardware and tools to do the job. Also I wish I new where to get a replacement handle, I have been using a rope to pull my cart. Rope sucks as you can imagine. I can't find anything on repairing instructions or where to get parts or even DIY solutions.
You’re super disappointed why? It’s not that hard to switch wheels on the frame size it’s common sense so I hope everyone can use their common sense. Also I have plenty of videos showing how I’d replace the wheels. Of course there’s no instructions because the company wants you to re-buy the same wagon over and over again until you get fed up. Do not waste time on the wagon and I found something better and stronger amzn.to/3tRZ2JL
..and now there's not enough ground clearance. Won't roll on sand or over rocks? I got one as a gift. Would buy a better cart if I was paying. Well designed but unfortunately made of cheap components.

Much better wheels indeed.

6 inch friend and thank you for the feedback and the love. This means so much to me and the communities of #Walmart and #Amazon
My cart has 7" wheels and only 1.5" wide. I believe these only work on oversized wheeled wagons?
Only base or frame housing size too, this is more this 1.5 wide friend
Are these wheels pneumatic? That's what I want to convert mine to
Yes they are
Did you hook your wagon to a car and tow it?
What?

Didn’t have problems with it at all but I left this wagon at a friends place. But it sure did the job 100x better
Can these be used on the beach through the sand?
Yes and I had tried it while in San Francisco
