Greg shares his journey with the CJ Nelson Parallax, initially struggling with its performance until a fin change transformed his experience. Initially unhappy and nearly selling the board, Greg consulted with Dave who recommended trying a different fin, specifically a flex fin. This adjustment made a significant difference, especially in smaller to medium-sized waves, up to about 4 feet.
Greg highlights that the Parallax, equipped with the right fin, becomes very neutral in its handling, offering a free-flowing and fast ride. However, he notes it's not the best for nose riding unless you're highly skilled like CJ Nelson. Ultimately, Greg is pleased with the Parallax, now considering it his go-to board for longboarding.
