The 383 Stroker is a really proven concept at this point. I've driven or ridden in many of them over the years and they seem to run really well. They make make a lot of torque for a small block. The nice thing is the your displacement is coming more from the stroke, so it isn't bored to the point where it would cause any issues.
I'm really glad that you liked the video. It truly is one of the nicest cars that I've seen in quite a while. The attention to detail was second to none. It's really a shame that you need to sell it, but it's going to make someone else very happy I'm sure. It really is obvious the amount of time, money, and care that went into it's construction.
It runs out real strong, that's for sure. It's one of the cleanest cars you'll ever find too. Thanks for taking a look Murray.
The interior was awesome but.the.details.was just so on point!!
Ramblin Around, Hi thank you for such a great video of this car, This is my Husbands car and we didn't want to sell it. I Cried when we took it to Fast Lane. It was his pride and Joy, It has won many shows and got a lot of Honers on the regional & National Show circuit. The Original appraisal on this car was $110,000 when built. It has been in many National magazines and he absolutely Babied this car. Thank you again for all your work on the Video.
do you remember what year those seats came out of and was their many modifications to get them to fit. thanks in advance

Hungry Heart
Yep, just trying to add some new angles to keep things interesting.
Wow... amazing...
It really is an impressive machine. This car is currently for sale again at Passing Lane Motors. Thanks for taking a look!
Wow what a car. I bought a new Nova in 1970 but it wasnt anything like that , was a good car though put 84,000 trouble free miles on it.
The 383 is a 350 bored .030 over, with a 400 crank in it. The 400 crank increases the stroke of the engine, which is why they call it a stroker.
What kit was used for power windows I want to add to mine..beautiful car
383's always a good choice... specially in something as bad ass as that thing. wow. perfect stance.
Omg just Cant wait to do mine at least as half as Nice Amaizing Grace......uuuuuuwwwiiiii
I like the 383 cid small block stroker as a concept. How do they perform in everyday driving?
cool
Nice looking car. Although I've never owned or driven a Nova, I've always liked these cars. Why do they call these "Strokers"? What's that about?
Nice car. Just confused me to why they have the ss badge in the front but not the back ss panel.
well shot and well eddited, i know the amount of work that goes into a good video.
Did you use sons "slide cam" in some of these shots?
No, I'm afraid this was done before he built it. We have used it in all of our recent videos though. Thanks for watching, I appreciate it!
Do more of you sons car!!
Please tell me how or where I can find someone to build my dash custom like this one please?
Needs Flowmasters!!
Is this same same type of car of the Film DeathProof?
Yes
what brand are the rims?
Chevelle isso sim é um carro, mas nasci no Brasil, aqui eles fizeram chevete aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Ah! Ok. What's the horsepower rating, and how about the torque rating? Do you know? I would think that with an increase in stroke, the torque would be more than what it normally would.
very nice car ... the guy who built it dropped a load of cash on her lol
U couldnt build that same nova today like that ..for under $60-$65k..
Wake Ol’ Blue up, she needs to stretch her legs.
Oh it's JUST a small block Chevy....bwahahaha...fingers crossed behind the back.
