- Pentatonix (PTX) perform Valentine for 10 Private Performance guests in their dressing room at Shoreline Amphitheater, Mountain View, California on 08/23/15. PTX opened for Kelly Clarkson on her Piece by Piece tour. [The giggling at the beginning is from a guest who, right when PTX was about to start the song yelled out "wait!" Because she wasn't ready to film yet. 😂☺️ (she was so sweet and was using a new phone).]

Maybe the most beautiful thing my ears will hear. Pentatonix is truly an accapella band with lots of different voices and characters but as their own AND as a group they're amazing. I don't know why some people don't love them.

The very best performances are when they sing without the mic. They sound soooo much better without the microphone being unbalanced and stuff

This is what Kirstie meant when she said that she looks like a little munchkin when she doesn't wear heels while with the other members 😂 I'm personally 5"5 and Kirstie is 5"4 which is literally the average height for a woman. I can imagine looking up to see everyone's face 😂 I believe that Avi's 5"8 Mitch's 5"10 Kevin's 6"3 and Scott's 6"4 😂 It's just that Avi and Kirstie are the only ones with normal heights and the other three are just TALL 😂

I set the phone up and then closed my eyes for most of it to just listen. I have ADHD so get distracted easily and it was easier just to be able to listen.Turn off one sense so to speak to tune into the other. It was so beautiful I might have forgotten to breathe though!
Actually, as a singer, I find it easier to sing with my eyes closes.
