Love this watch... I've bought it with a stainless steel bracelet, which is very good quality built, even the end links are solid, as it is the bracelet itself! Yet being quite heavy with it, I have it now on a military green NATO strap. I will have eventually black leather strap to it. CASIO as of late has started making the big second hand being the chronograph second hand with the tachymeter on the bezel, for that I have the SEIKO and for the clicky feedback. Great presentation, keep it up!
I actually like the fact that it has a big seconds hand. I rarely use the chronograph and it would be hard to see the seconds in the sub dial, while the big seconds hand stay stationary for most of the time.
Thanks a lot! I was about to buy a second hand one, but I had the suspect something was going on because in all the pictures of this watch and its variants online, the seconds hand was never at noon. It’s the only reason I would by a chrono, to be honest: The ticking seconds hand is what I dislike the most of quartz watches, and I’d buy a chrono uniquely not to see it in such a prominent way as it is here.
Tomas, great quick review. It was awesome that you could change the crystal for a sapphire one (some watches come with a very unique diameter size that makes it hard to find replacement). Looks great for a very economical price. Enjoy!!!
Hi Tomas: I think the Citizen Chandler Chronograph (AT0200-5A)would be a better fit for you: solar powered plus the big seconds hand is for the chronograph. No sapphire crystal though sadly.
This watch has been on my wish kist for a while. I love the size and its versatility. There's a new version with orange accents and white small hands. And it used to be a panda version. Was it difficult to change the crystal? I would love to have this one with sapphire
it was rather difficult, would not recommend. At first I cracked the mineral while removing so there was no way back. Than I got a bad size sapphire (too small). Second sapphire I got right. Pressing it in was fine, but I am not sure about water resistance now :D Didn't wanna go into too much detail in the video making video too long, sorry.
I really hate edifice watches, they're a total tease: + always look very cool, nice color variants, mature yet sporty (a big plus: they have plenty of sapphire glass cover variants without costing premium prices) - but then you realize, that they're the size of a household water meter.... why so big?! Very few of the Edifice line have decent 41 / 42 mm variants, the rest 45+ with 53 mm lug to lug...
I tend to agree, but chronograph watches are historically larger and thicker, because of their complication and placement of subdials, for easier reading. Anyway, Edifice has a few non-chronograph models with 40-42 mm dials, but if you want a smaller chronograph, you'll have to look elsewhere. Btw, I don't like chronos. Too busy for my taste.
I am a few Edifice watches sum are Bluetooth with little negative lcd desplaiy sub dills which are hard to see but I just love what they do I also have chronograph ones which I like also but I do like the one you are showing good on you for getting it at a great price
Can you explain what "big seconds hand does not belongs to chronograph" means? Is the second hand of chrono is synchronised with minute hand's of chronograph? Thanks
@@TomasWatchReviews now i feel relieved.i was hesitant to buy this particular watch cause im worried it would be too big on my wrist.btw we have same wrist size

Yes, I took a gamble with this one :D Also cracked mineral while removing so there was no way back :)

Big seconds hand belongs to the clock, it is separate from the chronograph.
@@TomasWatchReviews so normally in any chronograph, the big second hand is also connected with chronograph?? 😅
