There’s everything wrong in India!! But no one dares to speak about it Kyu ki agar kuch against baat kar liya toh anti national bola jaayega!! That’s why most of the people just ignore and live with it!! Till we ignore, there’s no development in India
I am an Indian living in Ireland and I 100% resonate with THIS way of thinking. Most of the people I know here are working in supermarkets, pubs, pet-sitting, construction work, science museum etc. They have a very respectful and dignified life. They make decent money and can sometimes save enough to even buy expensive things for them and their dear ones. Also I have to mention that Dhruv's sponsorship endorsements are so on point. His topics have a great story line & are backed by facts. Must check out his videos on world events. There are very few time that I recall myself writing such a big ass comment on UA-cam but here we are. Totally worth my time!

If students do these jobs part time during their college years they will realise dignity of labor and thus no one will look down upon these extremely necessary jobs.
Agreed. I remember when I started consuming english media(movies, comics) etc, I felt wierd at first because "rich","sophisticated" main characters often served part time as waiters or manual labours like car wash etc, or they would talk friendly or even date the waiters etc. Seeing these professions treated as such in these movies, my attitude changed unconsciously and I didn't even notice it. However, I am still kinda classist to other jobs like garbage man, bar dancer etc. Maybe because they were discriminated in those movies too?
Yep, one thing most first world countries do right is lettong the kids realise the importance of these jobs by letting them face the difficulties themselves.

I want to thank you Sir for making such as "Eye Opening " video on this topic. It's reality of our Indian society that we often don't give respect to the workers who are doing a little lower position jobs. We all need to give respect to all profession. 😇

I always used to think about this issue. I always wonder why such professions aren't given much respect but are used as disrespectful slangs. And today Dhruv made a video addressing this issue. What a coincidence! Just wow!
Yeah but that's because these professions don't require much knowledge whereas others req. lots of hard work. If you wanna respect, you have to work hard. You are lazy, and uneducated and done no work in your studies and you also expect others to respect you. Yes I agree that everyone should respect those low class jobs but the ones who is doing that low class jobs shouldn't ask for respect as they should have tht much shame. A police constable can't ask his superior officer to salute him.

The classist behaviour starts from home. Whenever they see a sweeper or waiter, they say to you "If you don't study you'll end up like him". Why don't our parents say "Study hard to make a better world for these people". Because of this stereotype, people don't wanna do these type of jobs and treat them inhumanly.

classism exists even in schools. the classes are: 1) Toppers (99%-100%) 2) Can do better students (80%-90%) 3) Above average students (70%-80%) 4) Average students (50%-70%) 5) Below average students (30%-40%) 6) Failures (0%-29%) and the amount of respect given to them by teachers and the top 2 classes depends on the above list. also subject stream is another set of classism. I (from class 9 to this day) belong somewhere between 3rd and 4th class (though i do not support this classism, just telling where i stand in this system) from 4th class to 8th class i belonged to the top 2 classes. so i know both perspectives.
That's why unemployment is increasing. It's not always about scarcity of vacancy in a post but our mindset of not doing a job that doesn't match our standard or caste. It's the difference between a developed and developing country.
This is the best video of yours so far. I am a college student and a work as a freelancer to earn my pocket money but once I said to my parents I want to do a part-time job of a delivery man they said we raised you in an English medium school to do this job but in European countries all students work as waiter, delivery man,etc and people don't say anything bad about it because there they don't discriminate any kinda job..
Where I live Barbers, waiters are among the highest earners within the society. Universities have professional degrees for making professional barbers and waiters. A large section of youth aspire to be in the service industry because of how much they get paid. It always depends how a society chooses to treat it’s individuals. A society without classisms and racisms flourishes and a society with classisms and racisms suffers. But it is really hard to accept logic when you are brainwashed up to that extent that makes you resist logic.
Yes That's Why They are way ahead of us...In Western Countries teens Start Working in Jobs likes Waiter in Hotel,Cleaner etc...Which Is Consider 'Lower level' jobs in India...If Anyone Do these Type of Jobs In India People Will judge chahe Judge Karne Wala Koi Company me Naukari ke Naam pe Majduri hi kyo na kar raha ho xdd

Seeing these professions treated as such in these movies, my attitude changed unconsciously and I didn't even notice it. classism exists even in schools.
the classes are:
1) Toppers (99%-100%)
2) Can do better students (80%-90%)
3) Above average students (70%-80%)
4) Average students (50%-70%)
5) Below average students (30%-40%)
6) Failures (0%-29%)
and the amount of respect given to them by teachers and the top 2 classes depends on the above list.
also subject stream is another set of classism.
I (from class 9 to this day) belong somewhere between 3rd and 4th class (though i do not support this classism, just telling where i stand in this system)
from 4th class to 8th class i belonged to the top 2 classes.

The Ending just blowed my mind away. I had always thought non-cleanliness of India is due to poor governance, but actually it is the result of classism in our society.
Bahut achcha content rahta hai aapka dhuruv g😊😊😊
True.
By watching this video I felt bad for myself on all those occasions were I became classist.
Thank you bhaiya, keep making many such videos, we are with you. 😊

Sir / Madam idea at 7:50 is revealing. Truly extraordinary concept.

We need to push this man 💪 hats off to his efforts
But Modiji used his Chaiwala profession as marketing concept. He has gone to his mother, bowed to her. Photographer accompanied him, took the snap that he bowed to his mother. His mother gone to ATM Counter in Demonetization period, photographer took the snap. All propaganda, his marketing. First he was projected as unmarried. It was propagated that an unmarried man should not be corrupted, as his need is minimum as he has no family, as if all family men are corrupted.
Then what about his madam?
@@mohdghouse7018you mean his mistress RYT?

During my college days I had a classist friend who slowly induced this concept into me, basically putting someone down in the name of any damn difference, just to claim/feel herself superior, in just one instance I came back home my mom pointed out the new change in me isn’t positive but regressive, it was like a tight slap when I was shown mirror, by another friend, who gave me time frame to rethink and introspect, I’m thankful to them who cared for my attitude, who took time to correct me.
This social evils are everywhere sir,and its very hard to vanish this mindset completely
I'm 18 now . One day I went to a resturent with one of my friends . We sat there on a chair💺, a weiter came and said - Sir what do you want to ordar...I said him yaar don't call us Sir we are like your brother . I think he just socked and smiled and started to talk with us. He was from another district just came here in our city to study but as a result of lock down his father was not able to send him that much money so he unwillingly joined the resturent...😞Bola ki pehele pehele bohot bura lagta tha but kya kare money is everything.
This video showed reality of how we treat our beneatth people..everyone of us should respect these all hardworking people and should consider them and us as equals..as we both are humans..dhruv bhai like always awesome work
