I am in the cosplay mode again and have been trying to put together several different cosplays. I managed to find a good amount of pieces in this video! I will do an update when I find more to complete the looks!
I had so much fun thrifting for these items and finding good deals.

OMG THE WRAP DRESS FOR SIGMA WAS SO PERFECT!!! At 7:56 when you were sketching out where the little cuts on the bottom of the dress to be, how exactly did you get them even on the other side? Since the top of the dress overlays the other side I’m just curious how you got the measurements the same. Also, how do you style your wigs? I suck at it so in trying to get as much advice as possible 😭🙏 I’m thrifting for Q this weekend so prayers I find something good! Love this video

As for the measurements, i used the seem down the side of the dress! Since that seem ran down the left and right side the same on both, i was able to measure the distance from the side to evenly match the other. I hope that makes sense!
Omg wigs are so dang hard 😂 I’m not the best either lol. Crimping all the hair and brushing it out gives a lot of volume if you’re styling it with like points and just need it not flat. And then you need a really good hairspray for hold. You kind of just use heat and then hold the hair where you want it while it cools and then spray it in that position to stay. Also if you really need something to stick up, teasing the underside and spraying helps too.
I’m really bad at wigs and that’s as much as I know so I hope that helps. 😅 I had help with my Vaggie wig and I’m currently working on Angel which is A STRUGGLE haha. Hopefully when I get better and more confident I can make wig videos too!
@@alyxfaye oh! I didn’t even notice there was a seam down the side of the dress, that makes a lot of sense! I guess that explains all the seam ripping lol. Yeah! I actually bought a crimper not too long ago for this same reason. I just suck at teasing wigs because I never know how much hair to section off and what parts to tease if you know what I mean… 😭 I have a lot of got2b glued hairspray from one of my Miku cosplays that a friend helped my style as well, so I’ll probably put that to use while it’s cooling as you suggested. I’d love to see some wig styling videos in the future! Also, loved the Chuuya in the maid dress at the end lol. I cant wait to see how your Angel dust cosplay comes out! Seems quite tedious, but I know it’ll turn out good 👍! Thanks for all the help!
