This is very very impressive. I’ve worked with loads of dog groomers and never seen anyone dedicated this much time and effort to deshedding a lab. I hope you were paid well for all that!!!
I have 3 labs. One is an old black lab and isn’t happy if you try and brush him. One is a young red lab who is untrainable and you have to muzzle to brush him. And one golden lab who tried to get in the way of the others when you brush them so that you brush her instead
We live in Hawaii, a hot and humid climate. I use a shedding blade on my Lab a couple of times a month but it never occurred to me that I should be thinning his undercoat. Thanks.
Me ha gustado mucho este video, nunca he visto quitar el pelo a un perro con esa cuchilla o lo que sea, es impresionante la cantidad de pelo que saca y parece que no tiene xD. ❣️BUEN TRABAJO DAMJAN❣️
I’m so sad that labs shed but after living with my friend’s golden retriever, I will never be able to deal with shedding again :( Maybe I’ll get a labradoodle brother for my goldendoodle
Okay so I have a 4 year old lab . I have a question . I used to take him to the groomers before COVID hit but haven’t anymore . So my question is. He has allergies to some type of ingredients in his food . I’ve tried switching him around and I have him on salmon rn . Which has helped . He just sheds so much and he starts to smell after a week or 2 after I bath him . I bath him with a special vet shampoo but my question is …… can I trim him ? He’s a indoor dog . I take him on walks but he’s never outside by himself. So he doesn’t get exposed to the sun too much . But I been wanting to trim him . Not shave him completely but trim him . Is that okay?
Furminator, be sure to get the correct size and you’ll love it. Just rake down the back towards the tail and you’ll be surprised how much fur comes off!

There is a wider one, but i haven't been able to find it in a store. Great toll by the way
A Furminator. Designed to remove the undercoat and loose hair without cutting or damaging the topcoat. Make sure you have the correct size. Just scrape his back towards the tail and you'll be surprised at how much fur comes off.
It’s strange how a short haired breed can shed SO MUCH.
Double coated.
Extra waterproof coat. Spring and autumn is crazy
My black lab is going through it right now. It's crazyyy hairs everywhere, constant brushing and sweeping around the house lol
My lab sheds more than my sheepdog!
They have double coated, because they beloged to very cold climates

Thank you very much, I really appreciate it.
Labs are so chill ❤️ Until they see you get out the leash 🤪
chill? mine is like “YO LOOK OVER THERE. IMMA BARK” then not shut up for like 20 minutes
There’s no way my 14 month old chocolate lab sits calmly like that.
Uhm have you seen them around food?😆
Lol yeah. My lab pup always grabs his leash and parades it around the house in exitement before he let's me put it on lol
They’re smart-ish

No dog is untrainable
pretty sure you could be combing for the next 10 yrs and fur would still come out. Our lab fills buckets with his fur 🥲
I wish my lab would sit still like this for just 5 minutes
I think it's growing back as fast as it is being removed!
No one can prepare you for how much a lab sheds 😂. Such a satisfying video
It would be super awesome if you could link the tools used!
SO MUCH HAIR! WOW!
We had a chocolate lab when I was growing up. She was a great guard dog and she got huge. Lots of brushing. They are beautiful dogs.
i know those good scratches on its back feel sooooo good! thats why hes not moving
Wish u guys do another De shed video; this one was great!
That groomer really went over and above. That's some really time-consuming, tedious work, that I probably wouldn't do but WORTH EVERY PENNY.👍👍👍👍
I like when you use the phone camera on your head the best 👌
Taking my Yellow Lab to get this done tomorrow! My girl sheds sooo much! 💞
Will desheding stops hairfalls
I actually wish you kept the de shed in real time; I like your de shed videos they are relaxing great for meditating and chilling out
all i can say is WOW!!
that boy is well fed

Just me?🙂
Hi. Can you kindly tell me after this process how soon they will go back to shedding again?
Nice work 👍
what are u using?
Just spent 20 mins deshedding my lab. I have no idea how they have so much hair
What a freak. He’s wearing a mask in a room with a dog…
Is it best to do this before or after I’ve washed my dog please? :)
What is the tool he is using??? It looks like razor
do they shed this much on a daily basis? will it be okay if someone in the house has asthma😔??
tool name?
How many time i have to brush my lab with this tool? Can i use it everyday?
It would give them brush burn if used everyday. Use a rubber curry brush for daily maintenance~
@@lunalyn3607 thank you
Amazing job you did! What kind of brush did you use?
Thank you so much. It calls a furminator.

I think you stole my dog, my BoBo has a stubby tail too! 😜
The tool you referenced is out. What do you think about the furminator for short hair? Would you ever use a rake?
the furminator worked great with my yellow lab. it looks like a rabbit exploded in my back yard two times a year
I’m looking for a tool to use to deshed my Labrador what is the best to use?
Furminator, be sure to get the correct size and you’ll love it. Just rake down the back towards the tail and you’ll be surprised how much fur comes off!
