I saw Joe and Steve last night at the Hard Rock Live here in Orlando....Joe started his set with his gold boy. I had to come get a closer look...what a beautiful work of art that is.
So envious and happy for you Marc,I've been a huge fan of Joe's since Flying in a blue dream era and his Custom "Goldie" in Big Bad Moon.Congrats and cheers from Oz mate ;
You are pretty much the first to get in the US, congratulations looks great… I have one ordered but I’m #15 on the list I guess. I wonder how the pick ups are going to sound, thanks for making the video
It's so good to see guitars that are literally high art pieces, and to see people that appreciate them. I was disappointed in Satch after the Mean Streets boondoggle.. I wasn't familiar with him at that point. But then I saw the clip of "Circles" recorded recently at some gallery..I was stunned by Satch. He should do his own thing. But I guess we all have to make a living.
The price is quite hefty for an Ibanez. And I thouggt those Hot Rod Orange JS's were pricey!(and they are!)I saw a clean Orange JS at a pawn shop in Austin for $1k a couple of years ago,I shoulda grabbed er!😭
OMG... don't let @SilverSurfer79 hear. He and I were having the same conversation a few months ago and neither of us jumped on the MCO. Both of us are still wanting to add to our collection. One day. I think my JS3CR will be my last (MAJOR) guitar purchase ever. unless I hit the lottery or something. Check out that unboxing I just made today.. ;)
Only a few persons want- are able to pay some money more than 5898 euros ! Omg and it's not perfect at all first, just a little weak pickup like a Fred (I prefer Norton and Joe changed it too to a more powerful pickup) second, the neck joint is bad vs Gibson hp, Ibanez Az, MusicMan Luke etc. etc. so for the money it's not enough at all So Joe - Ibanez could do better for the money even if I like the hss but a boost could be better too and more tone options
I'm part player, part collector... so as much as I want to play this guitar, I'd hate to damage such an amazing piece of art. :( I'm sure at some point I will give in but for now it stays in the safe lol
heh nothing special about the sound for the money... I just really like the feel of the JS series and this one is so unique with pickup selection options. Might be challenging to play LIVE if you like switching from neck to bridge a lot.
@@MarcusFHurt It should be an easy change to add like a three way switch for pick up selection, but it would loose the many combinations possible with the individual switches
@@marcoslnobrega Yes Agreed... I still have not played it yet. I actually have not even touched it again since I made this video. Still trying to decide if I want it as a collection item or a playable guitar. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna end up playing it but taking my time. The Chromeboy in this video was the best looking CB I've ever seen but unfortunatly it fell out of my safe onto the ground and now has a pretty nice sized chip in the chrome. I still get upset when I see it. So... just taking my time with this one.
I would say if I could only have one, I would want the JS1CR. I LOVE that Sastaniac, both for the sustain feature but also the tone as a neck pickup. Love it...
You clearly have a thing for some seriously over the top guitars, if I was going to throw that kind of money at a wall hanger I'd probably grab a decent looking PRS, this is way too much for my taste

Nice. I'm going to see him tonight..
Kudos for having the amazing outro of Time playing in the background!

Same here... 1st time I heard Joe was Surfin. Loved his music ever since. I'm greatful to finally be able to get one of his guitars. :)
Outstanding. I do finish and can say that's pretty clean off the gun. I want it sooooo bad
Then get one !

A work of art! Congrats!

That! Is impressive!!
like the price :)
Man! I love your collection, almost identical to mine!
It's such a shame you don't get a good case like the sliver tweed that came with the JS10th.
Yea... I got a JSCR3 with no special case either... But that ugly ass Paisley JS got one 😕

Wow gorgeous!
Beautiful!!! 🎉
Great Guitar! Please do a review about the sound possibilities!
Congrats man!... too much gold for me tho, and sold my chrome ones, kinda messes up the tone I feel... hoping he will go simple white sometime soon
The first white one was the JS2400 I think, with 24 frets. I'm fitting mine with a Sustainiac.
You should do a guitar collection video

Just play it man who cares
Hello, can you tell please something about the sound, does it has something special worth that money😁?
Thank you!

Hi Marcus, Marcos here 😀, which one looks cooler and more useful , the js1cr or js2gd? I like the sustainiac on the chrome

@@MarcusFHurt thank you
you should call them
R2,D2. & C3PO.
