A drummer who can last for a long time in a shout is incredible because for those who aren’t drummers it’s very difficult to play that fast for a long period of time that’s truly a gift

I remember those days. Every time I got the chance as a kid I’m sitting right by the drummer with sticks in hand, watching every move, and listening to everything. Church musicians overall are dope, especially in the black community.
I’m a drummer, and about as white as they come. That man has a gift from god.

MajorScaLe TV it’s not that I don’t like them. As the child of a musician I just have a bit more appreciation for true musicianship. As much as I hated practicing I can respect the dedication to learning and perfecting the craft.
Tracks don’t do nothing but free up your chops it not really helping you much its better to play without a track to show your real talent
@@imgoated-_-8901 People act as if click tracks help you lol or as if you are cheating by using them. What people dont realize is that click tracks actually take skill to play with because it will expose you if you have bad timing. It's not easier to play with clicks it's actually harder if you ask me. Especially for drummers more than anyone else in a band. Any slip up off the click and it's a disaster from there. But if you don't have a click you can almost get away with a lil mistake here and there.

I'm not a believer, and in the UK a lot of our churches are very quiet and demure in their worship. However, in my approximation, if you're gonna worship someone, this is how you do it. I have a lot of respect for it, and can't help but catch a little joy myself.

Lord got me at work can't concentrate on my work ready to get up and cut loose. That young man is on firer after all that drumming I would need somebody to just carry my arms out the church cause they tired 😂. I can't wait until Covid leaves I miss church so bad can't wait to be in that atmosphere again

I grew up with 3 jazz bands in my family and since the age of 5 I have been around jazz/funk and some gospel.. I have seen some amazing Jam sessions and drummers… that boy there is hands down nothing short of amazing… #PlainAndSimple

I have trying to play the drums at my old church for the longest while ( 6 years ) and I move to a different church were the drummer was on a different level and I was always at the front of the church watching him play until the day they said play the drums
Always remember to stay humble as a musician. You never know what kind of singer you may encounter and in this day in time, how many cameras are on you 15:21
