Garry, I really enjoyed this video, and I agree totally with your comments. I tried to get one of the iris versions, but market demand had increased the price to nearly $US 140, and I was willing to forego temptation, since I already had two Vac700R pens (one with a Pendleton Nib; a pen tuned to his BLS specialization, which did cost around that same amount; and the other with a 1.1mm stub, my first). I have some of the far less expensive models, partially because I use Twisbi as a source of nib sizes to try out. At first, like many, I just purchased either the Fine or (more likely) a Medium, if available. I only purchased a Broad nib when I acquired one of my two first gold nibs (Platinum 3776 Century). So, I have practically no experience with “B” nibs on U.S. or European pens. So, I hope you document your experience with learning to use a “B” nib.
I've got a few B nibs now. I'm still doing my initial uses of them so I can explore them properly. Hopefully will have the first videos about them at end of Feb or early March.
Great review Garry! I have an Iris in the 1.1mm Stub. I’ve got it inked with De Atramentis Pearlescent Brilliant Violet-Copper. A lovely shimmering ink. These pens are a dream to write with! Enjoy yours!! Cheers from the U.S.😃🇺🇸
Thank you. Once the Twilight Mist has finished I am going to try Robert Oster Grun-Gilt - this it’s sheen ink gold ink. I’m hoping that it is a nice combination.
Hi from Spain! Thank you very much for the explanation about the twisby vac, I had only tried it a little and it was going well but yesterday I took it to work and the ink stopped and I did not understand why it was happening, from now on I will open the cap because it is very pleasant for to write.
I have one! It's my first ever TWSBI and it's the most expensive pen I have. I inked it with Seitz Kreuzniach dark orchid. I bought it because this year.... Well I need more than a paragraph. Do I have any regrets? No!
Heya! I just thought I had ought to suggest that You try to use an unique quote for Your writing sample each time You review a pen. Maybe a quote from Someone who You admire, or greatly respect. Creativity is a good policy when You're entertaining.
I do a number of quotes in my daily shorts videos. I will have a think about adding one to the reviews as I am currently looking at what I can do to improve them.
This was my first TWSBI with B nib! I love it. I just ordered the mini vac and I’m already regretting that I didn’t get a second Iris vac!
I love that twsbi B nibs are so fat and wet. There is nothing worse than a dry nib because you might as well use a ball point.
👍

I like your review on this fp! I also got one for my birthday and I can't wait to ink it up 😊
Thank you. I hope you enjoy using it as much as I do.

Excellent review, thank you! I have 4 of the Vac 700r Iris pens with 1.1mm stub nibs. All are excellent writers. Subscribed!
Glad you like them

That’s a nice colour of ink for it. I like to match pen and ink as much as possible.

Your sound went off. At places
Thanks for showing iris 700

Thanks. I'll check it out to see if I can work out what caused the issue.
