It was never as bad as this back in the 80's when i was growing up (best music, long hot summers, community, people talked, we played outdoors most day and came home when street lights came on, even the television was good, no mobile phones, no internet, no devices, no none sense!!!) You only have to look at the world today to understand !

I remember Fox & Dogs. West Brom has always been rough, but its High St is the most violent place in the West Midlands. This is what a lack of investment in communities does. Still, its a wonderfully diverse area, with a great mix of cultures from across the globe. That's about all it has going for it now.
