@@ijustshatnered757I saw him with Lorna when They were touring for Psalms and playing with Rings Of Saturn and The Browning and smoked a J with him before Lorna went on. While He’s on stage He’s like “Who else here is stoned as fuck”, I yell out “Hell yeah Fuckin dabs man” cause that’s what We smoked before heading to the show, and He goes “Bro where the fuck were those a half hour ago” and I just couldn’t help but die laughing, cause the place wasn’t big at all. If You look up The Outpost in Kent,Oh You’ll see what I mean lol
Just me 26:50 when I heard this as he did bodybox, suffocate from knocked loose came to mind. Same exact beat, i like both just saw the coincidence between Skante and suffocate. Love you Darko ❤
Honestly, Darko has pretty much been my favorite newer band since their first drop. I love the no boundaries approach. Do everything...not just one thing.
I think that starfire is an amazing album. It was so much fun to listen to all of those out of nowhere sounds that went so well together. It's definitely a great front to back album.
16:35 I'm here hoping Tom's reaction was him tryna hint at it LOL that'd be awesome. Tom seems like a genuinely nice and chill dude that people love hanging out with
Although yes you don’t have to tour as a band to get “popular” or help you get a bigger from it. But that’s how I find some of my favorite bands is from them touring
Love to the crab!! I lstened to Darko us "insects" the very fisry time when it got released a few years ago. All i wanted to do was to be able to do that opening "aaaaaaahhhhhhhh" because it spoke to my sould. Started practicing screaming that day and never looked back, being not able to afford vocal lessons and so on. i had to learn myself everything via UA-cam tutorials and by mimicking what Tom sounds like. Also, i have Tourettes Syndrome, so I've always been able to make weird sounds, lol😂😂😂😂. Anyhow, I'm doing great today and figuring it out... Won a charaoke night a few weeks ago performing insects. It was the greatest feeling ever. I wish i could meet all the people and influences that got me to where i am. Love you Tom.
Hey Nik! Question! When talking with incredible vocalists/writers/performers like Tom here who have multiple successful projects..do you have any insight as to like what sort of like thematic, instrumental, or content-wise changes these artists might make between the different projects? Big fan of yours, man, keep doing! 🙏🏽
Check out Burial in the Sky and Exocrine if you're looking for sax etc. Rivers of Nihil, too, of course. The Last of Lucy, White Ward, Cephalic Carnage, Ihsahn...
Man, the part about time....I feel that big time. I just went on a mushie journey the other day and I feel like time is very subjective and irrelevant. The energy is merely being being contained in a vessel, or prison, as Tom calls it haha. Love this interview.
Already watched this morning but have a Hell of a week and now “ingesting” similar things and watching again to relax and enjoy this all over again. Space Hummus is beautiful 😂
“Do you fuck with thinking, are you a big thinker?” LOL
goated question ngl
Tom has the biggest bestfriend vibes of anyone in the scene and you can't tell me otherwise
I can’t wait for Darko to release their 42-song album and play it in full at their shows
That be the greatest thing ever.
Back to back world tours for that 42 track full album play through would be awesome, hahaha
3 hour show plus 2 other bands
Nik, Tom Barber, Will Ramos, and Clown playing Minecraft. I didn’t know I needed that. But I do LOL.
We do need this for real
he looks almost as baked as i was at chelsea grin in april
or really tired :D or both
@@wwmite naw he straight up says hes stoned at one point shortly after i commented XD
@@ijustshatnered757 yea, same. I commented before he said it in the interview :D

i love this man. his brain is gorgeous.
Love how smooth it is
"we're space Hummus" -TB
25:46 I love how awake he is. He’s definitely shifting to 5-D.
The best thing about this comment is that 5D is the name of one of the tracks of Starfire
He's so baked! 😂🤣😭 One of the best interviews till date on Nik's channel. 🤘🏻
I fucking love Tommyyyy boy
If you got Tom and Will in the same Minecraft world I don't think you'd stop laughing the whole stream
It would be the best stream ever.😂
With Tom’s baked-ness and Will’s ADHD, Nik would literally die from laughter 😂
Throw in Brian Garris and his almost wholesome delivery of "we need to make our fans to feel scared and trapped."@@MiaR_96
DARKO: space hummus-core
My favorite callout was when Tom Barber says “ehhh squidward” for the recreant breakdown
Is there a video of that?!
@@mairon66 not sure but I have a video of it
@@mairon66I have a vid too he did this at their show in Spokane 😂
@@korbanreynolds4402 I’m seeing them tomorrow so I’ll keep an eye out 👀😂
Tom is always so sweet and hilarious on stream with Nik. I am so stoked for the new Darko album!!
One of my two favorite Barbers. Him and Taylor Barber. Both great metal musicians
I remember when Darko released "Ana" with Taylor and I thought it's Tom's brother 😂😂
@@radamtv4779 I'm confused, so they aren't bros lol
@@mentaltelepathy24Nope, they're two extremely chill kings of deathcore with the last name Barber and no actual blood relation
They need to open a barber chain

Love you Darko ❤
Darko is the best band in metal right now. Im here for everything they do. They have earned my full trust and respect
Honestly, Darko has pretty much been my favorite newer band since their first drop. I love the no boundaries approach. Do everything...not just one thing.
The fact that the art is jak and daxter influenced for starfire makes me appreciate it so much more. My favorite childhood game series!
He looks so much like Adam De Micco with this haircut and the mustache 😂
Yeah true, i was wandering who he was reminding of^^
I think that starfire is an amazing album. It was so much fun to listen to all of those out of nowhere sounds that went so well together. It's definitely a great front to back album.
darko plus bilmuri would go soooo hard
"I factory farm them" "I look like a dishwasher" absolute gems 🤣🖤
Dude is one of my homies. Such a kind soul!
WHOA. He stiched up his gauges. Did not expect that 😂
That’s what I was wondering, why? lol
yeah looks so much better now
So glad that I caught this live. I hope Tom is back again soon, he's so fun! I'll be rewathcing this a lot. 🥰
Darko and Bilmuri's creative output is inhuman... Respect to both of those projects 🫡
I always get excited whenever Tom is your guest man, can’t tell more
Tom’s mustache is longer on the left side of his face than on the right and now I can’t unsee it.
"Damn brother I'm a tax payer again" 😂 Tom is the best.
16:35 I'm here hoping Tom's reaction was him tryna hint at it LOL that'd be awesome. Tom seems like a genuinely nice and chill dude that people love hanging out with
I rediscovered Chelsea Grin recently and absolutely love them.
I saw him recently in Montana when he came through with Fit For a King, his energy is so damn infectious when he performs, great dude!
21:58 jonny davy from jfac was in the band Fleshwrought
He must be baked as shit to have said jungle rot. Fleshwrought was a killer project.
Tom: "Yeah getting my ears fixed up was easy"
(Tom then proceeds to detail a horrifying experience involving blood and trying not to freak out)
I'm pretty good at keeping my emotions in check but if I ever met Tom in real life I'm pretty sure I'd lose my shit.
"isn't today Wednesday?" lmao
I love progress of music like look at whitechapel with Phil’s heavy but then goes acoustic like it’s epic af
ZAZA just keeps kicking-in as the video progresses. I love Tom!
Love you Tom!! So hyped for new Darko ❤
Although yes you don’t have to tour as a band to get “popular” or help you get a bigger from it. But that’s how I find some of my favorite bands is from them touring
Nik you are banned from making crab core jokes until you get Bilmuri on the podcast, get it together nik
Love his stuff. His work on Flesh Coffin was so great, still is 🤘
my favorite album ever
7:00 i totally agree that both darko and chelsea grin are so original sounding- i love both amazing bands and artist just overall AMAZING 🖤
So cooked, homie definitely had his weedy-o's for breakfast... 🤣
I was saying the same thing 😂😂
I think Tom has to be one of the best friends you will ever make in life
This was an awesome watch

Tom is such a good listener !
I love Toms new look and I got to see Chelsea Grin live a month ago and I got the signature of Stephen the guitarist.
"Get the bank from the loan" - Tom Barber 2024
Haircut? No gages? wtf
This made me love Tom again. Great interview
Why would him changing his appearance make you love him again?
Oh I understand now. My bad 😂
Hell yeah welcome to NC Tom!
Love this 🖤
THE POSTY colab idea is sending me
Haha my boy Josh fuck yeah man getting the love he deserves.

TOM BARBER YOU THE HOMIE!! Glad I met you again in Tulsa
Tom is a chill homie
"Fentanyl made me an only child" Is the heaviest breakdown callout vie ever heard from Bodysnatcher
The two of you are awesome I would love to see nik do a song with darko or Chelsea grin it would be awesome
Darko with 42 songs, you gotta name it double darko
Black Flag, Minor Threat and The Misfits are the perfect examples of DIY.
My man Tom!! So sad he didnt make it to my home town Quebec city last 2 time chelsea were scheduled
Ye cetais triste
The most talented metal vocalist. Darko is everything
Love to the crab!!

David, Barr, and Tom on the same song is probably going to my favorite song of all time
Another Lorna Shore member interview, YAY!!!

We know Poppy likes screaming but we need a track of her soft heavenly singing over a darko beat

what an absolute legend
I know this is the dumbest thing ever today, but Tom’s new hair looks fantastic on him.
That Marcus bridge feature looks sexy
So hear me out… Tom and Will and Nik do a collaboration 🔥🔥
the metal elitists will hate this interview
Already watched this morning but have a Hell of a week and now “ingesting” similar things and watching again to relax and enjoy this all over again. Space Hummus is beautiful 😂
Such a good conversation. Can we get a Johnny Franck chat soon?
Can't watch this until later but I hope the Darko album gets brought up so I can find out when they're gonna stop edging us with singles
This guy would be the best metal comedian. Fucking amazing vocalist and person as far as I've seen, but he's tucking hilarious
Boutta watch this on my commute to work.
28:00 bring back the crabcore... I feel you bro
17:58 Post Malone and Deathcore Post Malone hanging out
20:09 This moment still plays in my mind when I’m listening to this album 😂
I glad I tipped $10 to Tom's weed fund back in 2015, this man is amazing.
Dude I love Tom Barber 😂
Holy shit Tom has me fucking dying over here with the picture of his hypothetical farm.
NC... he's in my neck of the woods. We've got a Vito's nearby in Charlotte. I haven't been there but I've heard good things.
also, pump the weed brakes homie, the eyes are getting hammer smashed into oblivion. giving Nik's peepers a run for their money LOL
And this week's plays of the new Bodybox track just doubled (...and all of them were me)
Forbidden calamari 😂
Tim with the fresh cut! lookin good brother
Also the band Tom is talking about is Fleshwrought and not Jungle Rot. Both great bands though I love them both.
