@@c.d.macaulay66 It depends on how you define "one-hit wonder". I agree that for most people they might as well have been a one-hit wonder but their cover of Otis Redding's "I Can't Turn You Loose" made it to #37 on the Hot 100. I don't get anybody who doesn't listen to music before there time.
Me neither... I grew up on hip hop but that Genre turned to shit around 2006. Mainstream in general is trash so I was digging more old school hip hop, Funk, blues, soul, jazz and rock. Anything from today sounds like fucking trash and is generated by a large industry to feed dumb people. This right here is when artists still were artists
There are things to realize!
I was born 1959 Houston Texas Mexican American I joined the United States Navy 1976 at the age of 17 years old then I knew my time had come! Stay safe in 2021! Paul Garcia!👍💪😎
Paul:
I was born 1953 Houston Texas Anglo, I carried a draft card. The war in Vietnam raged the entire 4 years I was in high school, I remember being called to the principals office where the nurse weighed and measured me for selective service. I was of the very last who "sweated the draft", gone are those days. I wonder how young people now would be had they been around "back then".

You know me brother. I'm the Man With No Name... the real Man With No Name... you remember me I saved more than 50 American POWs, SVN, and even old French POWs from an impossible NVN prison camp in in '74... long before the Chuck Norris films were even a dream. We will never forget... we will never surrender...
Thank you for your service❤
I saw them live at Fillmore West summer of '67. They played Time for 25 minutes. The opening act
was Santana. It was some kind of show....
Would like to have been there
One of the greatest songs
OF ALL TIME
It sounds as good today as the day it was released!🎸👍
I was 11 when this came out and blown away. It’s sublime, like Bach. I can’t get it out of my head-memory. Good Bless the CBs.
That's a bad ass song! Hippie times were the best!
I like this song.

Man I remember when I was young. At the store they had cassette tapes and very few CDs. My dad was looking everywhere for this song. And I told myself this songs gotta be great cause my dad has tons of albums. When he found it and I heard it I fell in love with it. 30 years later and I'm still jamming to this song
