When I order my credit card from my bank i chose a card whitout the tap to pay service! But i had to ask them for it. I don't understand why they have this service! In Sweden we been using the chip for like 15 years but now they have this stupied one tap thing thats even easier then the magnetic strip to clone! Why just to save me like 30 sek in the store. I understand the use of this technology in like buss fare cards and things like that. But on our credit cards why?? They should be secure! I will never order a card whit that technology!!
Any decent wallet sold nowadays will have RFID protection. Like 20 bucks can get you RFID protection. Most credit cards will not hold you liable for fraudulent charges. If you don’t use credit cards because of the issue illustrated above, you might as well not drive because there is remote chance you’ll get hurt.
I have two cards. One for earning, one for spending. When I make a card payment, I first transfer cash from the earning card to the spending one, and then pay from the spending card. So, unless the bank itself is hacked, there's no way I'll be losing money.
I am strictly cash. Always have been always will. I Use no bank cards for any reason. All my money gets Put in a safe place in my house. I do not use banks at all not even to cash my checks. For that I go to a mom and pop , check cashing place
I gladly hand my cards to him...my bank account is few hundreds....my savings are all physical commodities like gold,silver,watches and cash...😂😂😂😂 I dont trust digit world much since government can tap into it if they go tyrant Gotta be safe 😂😂😂😂😂

I have one of those wallets it's steel or something with a USB chargeable battery. It was under $10 but doesn't fit lots of cash just mostly cards. I think the banks can make money from scammers in a way because you could have to go in debt.

I had tweaker family members steal my credit card info until I had to get a wallet with RFID protection .
Or go to bank site turn off tap to pay, set it to zero and swipe the card as in good old days!!

The foil tape works too put a big piece on the inside of the wallet where you would put paper money

Does matter anymore. You can just unlock your card before use. Then lock it again. Even if they have the number they cannot change.
