    Oh man! That’s a good looking forge! I wish you would’ve released this earlier! Just ordered a burner from a different company to build my own.

      Sorry about that! But I'm sure yours will be good as well. It's a very interesting addition for a workshop enabling you to heat treat blades or other diy tools. Im also trying learn myself a little about forgin which is a very interesting discipline. Regard!

      Nada que ver con lo que usaba antes. De momento ya empecé a practicar con el yunque haciendo mis primeros abrebotellas. 😁

      I see Chris! Blacksmith is very addictive but I think anything beats working with wood. 😉

    I made a propane forge and when I cut the hole, it was a 2 inch, my burner however is a little smaller, is it ok to use it like that? About a centimeter of space in there

    Do you also use the cement stuff where you put the white stuff by the screws or just put the white stuff there?

    That forge is fuel rich and wasting heat and gas. Get more oxygen or turn the gas down. It will get hotter and use less gass

      or more oxygen make decarbonized steel and more rust.. better propane rich flame for blades ofc. :)

    • @JustinTopp
      @JustinTopp 4 роки тому

      Pavol Šutý better yet balance it to be a neutral flame. Perfect amounts of propane and oxygen for proper combustion but no scale. Decarb happens in all forging environments. Just less so in a neutral or reducing fire

      Take out that wool from the gap in the top, that might help a bit. And it will act sort of like a ventury.

      @@WoodworkingBarcelona the blue flame escaping the forge is what he is talking about. That means excess propane that didn't get the oxygen it needed is finding it outside of the forge and igniting.
