Riding with my friend when this song first came out. It came on the radio and I was liking it but confused by the words. I said "where did he come up with this song?" My friend pointed at the passenger side view mirror. I looked out at it and was looking at the traffic in the mirror. I said "what?" He started pointing at the mirror. And that's when I saw it. Lol

One of the few I cannot make it thru to sing on stage. To close to home, to powerful, to perfect.

Aún recuerdo la primera vez que vi este video, fue hace 24 años a través de MTV. Parece como se fuera ayer!

another fine example of why jim steinman and meatloaf make a good team.......Although steinman's compositions seem to tell a 'dark' operatic story, meat seems to link into that more so than other artists singing a JS composition (bonnie tyler MAY have come close to the feeling with Total Eclipse of the Heart), But, good golly, Air supply!!!!! yuk!!!!!! Meat would've done THAT song justice!!!! And, Celine Dion?????!!!!! Meat DID a better job when HE did the song!!!!
