Having 15 kids, snacktime can be a bit confusing. So we asked the kids to pick what they wanted for snacks. You’ll never believe what they choose!

Hey! Try rotating the snacks that don’t get eaten as often to the top shelves. That way the ones that are less popular are the ones that are the first line of sight. Another good idea is to donate them with your bags for the homeless! I used to work at a homeless shelter actually and the guys loved trail mix and fruit snacks for days they needed a sack lunch.
I love trail mix. It is the best of all of them.
I love to hear Aurora talk. She has made so much progress with her speech! She is such a good helper too! Going to get the broom and dustpan without being asked was so smart, she knew the mess needed to be cleaned up! 💗🎄💗
Aurora makes the bold statement of not liking snacks…. But she’s the one who put most of the snacks in the cart 😂

She is still young and at that age kids live in the moment. Yes she is spoiled and over indulged but that is normal when you are the youngest in a large family as her older siblings spoil her as well. I suspect she might be a let's say a 'character' when she is a teenager. LOL

@@lindadriessen9027 I didn't mean anything bad in fact even though I don't like to have favourites I have a soft spot for her since the very beginning because I have also had health and learning difficulties. When I was well enough I was a teacher wnd foster Mum and the kids with a bit of character always seemed to find their way into my classroom. Aurora like any child is precious and deserves to be cherished and she is very loved by her family.
Aaron just did an Alex move when he said "we're good" 🤦😂 now we know where Alex gets it from. Like father like son 😂💙💙Nice !
Brodie is great, he is born to be on the stage, pure natural
Don't forget the bus drivers that get up at 4am to clean off a snowy bus and try to get it warm, then navigate snowy and icy streets to get the kids to school safely!
I am 9 months pregnant and dream about hanging out with y'all often. I think it's my subconscious missing and wanting to be surrounded by loving, caring people. I appreciate y'all!

Why does Aurora look at the sky when she talks?
So excited for Hannah. We made ornaments and homemade candy filled gumball machines for the teachers. The children had so much fun making them. They were four, five and six years old.
Thank you for putting a reminder for teachers. I am a 3rd teacher and we don’t get as much recognition as we should be so that was a sweet reminder ❤️
Teachers hate mugs - they get so many every holiday. Gift cards Target or Walmart are perfect.
I loved how all the kids had to get into the snacks once they made it home! That was always the best when I was a kid. Crystal, that was so thoughtful of you to give the teachers a little something. They deserve it. God Bless!

I can remember when I was a school bus aide the kids would get me and the school bus driver things for Christmas. This vlog brought back those memories
For any snacks your kiddos are not a fan of or if you have too many of one type of snack. You can leave them in a basket or something by the front door for delivery drivers.
I am challenging you to do a video where you don’t eat processed foods for 1 day. I know it is an American thing (and I am not American). But the amount of food Americans eat from cans/plastic/boxes is insane to me. My shopping cart is mostly organic fresh produce. And especially with a big family, you can save soooo much on plastic by buying in bulk. Could be interesting to compare the amount of trash on a normal day with a day where you dont eat processed foods. And a good lesson for the kids.
Normal Americans do not eat like this lol this is insane. Lol We only do packaged treats like that on special occasions like vacations or holidays

I have three sisters who are teachers, and I’ll tell you that what they appreciate the most are gift cards for like Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Target, Walmart, etc. The candy is nice, but they get so much candy and and baked goods that I usually end up getting some of it.

I have my sams card on my phone app because scan and go is awesome. When our sams is packed we are in and out because we scan as we put in car and then just check out with phone. No unloading and waiting in line! I have never been to a costco I'm in West Virginia.

Hey anything that says Betty Crocker or General Mills? My dad works for General Mills so we have tried Dunka Roos and they said it’s the best thing they went by so fast in our house. We had it for like a week so I know your family will like it. my dad has worked there for more than 30 years so it’s really good

Gushers seems like a candy not really a snack. AND FYI I just learned that Goldfish has a red dye that can cause hyperactivity ect so be careful if thats an issue. Its not in Cheezits though,

I'd never heard of 'gushers' so I looked them up. I discovered they are full of sugar. Many fruit snacks are just glorified candy. Maybe I'm old school, but, growing up , we never had so many snacks. We had 2 plain and 1 cream biscuit for morning tea, and a piece of fruit. Afternoon tea was fruit or an extra sandwich.We had to ask for extras. (I know that's different with adopted children because of their issues with food). Sunday nights were special - we were allowed to have 1 Zac. Zac's we like TimTsms but were individually wrapped. Sometimes we had Violet Crumble cubes. My mum also baked once a fortnight. Cake, biscuits, tarts, sausage rolls, pies, quiche, pikelets. It last our family of 7 the entire 2 weeks. But we were never allowed to help ourselves. There were 5 of us kids. I feel that today snacks seem to be used as their very own food group!
We never buy snacks. There are so many preservatives, colourants and sugars in them. Fruits, berries, salad veg are a treat.
@Debbie Rudolph That's what I think, too. No harm in an occasional treat, but they aren't a necessity. Not to
mention all the packaging/wrapping.
My 3 sons are ADHD and my grandson is as well. If we give him any Chocolate, sweets, chips he is so revved up he is uncontrollable. He also crashes after a while and cries. He does have bran and fruit muffins, home baked or museli rusks occasionally but it is how he has been brought up. Natural sugars as much as possible. He loves carrots 🥕, sweet peppers, berries and any fruit. He also loves pickles as a snack.

have made. There are great alternatives to packaged "snacks" most of which have little, to no, nutritional value at all.

My daughter's last day of school was yesterday. We have our main school holidays at Christmas time, our summer time for 6ish to 7 weeks.
You got stuff for teacher gifts for the little kids, but nobody ever takes care of the high school teachers. I get that there’s more of them, just do less per person! HS teachers get NADA!
