For this installation on a 2107 Mercedes E300, we show you how we programed the handheld controller of a WHELEN HHS3200 to work with the Rumbler per the customer requirements.
deutschland hat dafür das schöne Presslufthorn was eh lauter ist als alles andere auf der Welt xd und ja ich stand schon vor einem ami mit Howler und vor nem Deutschen RTW mit Presslufthorn und das Presslufthorn war lauter xd
The mech with howler sounds more like a mass-warning system. (basically an air raid alert) i dont know how fun it would be to think theres an air raid when a police car passes by :)
That's pretty awesome. I love the sound effects. I hope the driver isn't the one operating that device. That would be the equivalence of using a cell phone while driving. It's a shame the handsfree feature was missing. Would be interesting to see how that worked.
@@ryans9029 Not true :) As a deputy, we don't care. Our sirens usually have almost BRAILE on them. One Dot = Wail, 2 = Yelp, 3 = Pierce, 4 = Hi-Lo/Evacuation, 5 = Howler. Or on this, just mount the Sirenbox to the dashboard like NYPD does.
Mate i was curious about the rumbler for a theme ride ive made in my garage. Sounds better than it is, but i want like a rumbler to shake stuff. is it a transducer or speaker or what? How does it work?
Where do you install the speaker? I installed mine by the shutter assembly inside the grille and it’s triggering the check engine light on. Any idea where I can re-mount it?
@@DITYADISINI yeah. I watch your vids. If I remember correctly you use a white versys 650. Correct me if I'm wrong. I was pointing out that the video uses english, comment section also uses english. Should remain in English😁
It’s a low frequency howl that kind of reverberates inside your vehicle if your windows are up or have loud music on so you know there’s an emergency vehicle behind you.
Yeah.. no. Not all jurisdictions use code 1 as "no lights and sirens" In fact is on some jurisdictions.. code 1 is lights+sirens.. reverse the typical code structure.
@@ryans9029 You are thinking of Priority 1. There is code and priority. The code system using code 1 as no lights or sirens, code 2 as lights only and code 3 as lights and sirens. Sounds like you should expect to see the police car from transformers.
reminds me of being in NYC. first time i heard a rumbler when i was there years ago

It is not at all the equivalent. You do not have to look at this to operate it. Your vision does not leave the road.
No. It's equivalent to adjusting the radio while driving. It's second nature.

What's your speaker setup? Do you require special howler speakers?
I would so love to use that.
Question, why using with Whelen low tone Rumbler not Howler?
Howler has a time out, Rumbler you can override the timer

The rumbler sounds of the sirens is so sexy, god damn.

Could you possibly show me how to program the howler/rumbler to stay off during the PA function? I’m fairly comfortable with Whelen command.
Is it possible to install this for temporary use instead of making it a permanent fixture?
Police in my country use this siren, good model of siren
2:25 i don't know but I like the Mechanical one, with and without the rumbler
Those sirens are from Calgary I have heard the same sounds some sounds though

I don't think it's your mounting location. It sounds like it what you have it connected to. Did you connect it to a fuse? How is it connected?
The mechanical with the rumbler sounds a lot like an air raid siren

Theoretically yes, but I believe they're tuned for a specific frequency

Low Frequency sirens are not recognized as a legal siren tone, so therefore they are just expensive noise
