It’s hard to believe that you’ve never heard the song? However, their music evolved quickly and soon they were light years beyond “creep”. It would be incredible if you listened to a song from each album in chronological order, so you could hear the band change through time!!
Radiohead was first!✌️😊
And Better... nowodays Muse are just an awful stadium rock band.... they were fantastic until Black Holes and revelations... after it's just crap
We have all been there which is why you can feel it so deep and his delivery and the guitar work is brilliant…love this
Radiohead by about 10 years, ish.
When I requested this I knew you had not reacted to it, and crossed my fingers that you never heard it before. So gwad you've been living in that box in recent years 😂! I'm glad you loved it; thanks for the great reaction. -Joni
I'm gwad too, great suggestion.
Me gwad as well 😂😂
Oh i love this song, so chill, something relax to 👌🏻
Radiohead came first - before Muse, Coldplay, etc. FYI.
Glad you enjoyed it! They have a zillion epic songs and albums. Radiohead inspired entire genres let alone Muse (not knocking Muse) but yeah they definitely are trailblazers and came about many years before the 2000s rock/pop sound.
Gweat choice Jonie. Still can't get Gallagher the parrot out of my head 😂😂😂
Gweat reaction Lee 😂😂
Gotta check that one out fo sho🤣
@@daphned.7489 Oh yes 🤣🤣
Based on the things that you mention specifically pique your interest (structure and delivery), Radiohead may be a band that has albums you'll want to listen to from start to finish. Creep was on their album 'Pablo Honey', which did well, but I think 'The Bends', 'OK Computer', and 'Kid A' are their best albums. Next songs I'd recommend for you is *My Iron Lung* and *Fake Plastic Trees* both are from The Bends.
In Rainbows might be my favorite but all their albums are great except their first one which this song is on.
@@jameshannagan4256 💯
This takes me back to my high school days in the 90s! You can hear the pain in Thom’s voice. Amazing.
The last verse is the giveaway for me. I think he's in awe of these beautiful people, but now is beginning to realise that perhaps they are rather shallow & he has something different to offer which may be of greater worth. Being " so fucking special" is not the be-all & end-all.
This was off their first album and really defined the band. Which was unfortunate, because a lot of people didn't understand the song and things its sad or creepy. Turned a lot of people off from trying their other songs. But they only got better and each album sounds different from the others. They're all awesome. In Rainbows being my personal favorite
Just half in...but this is my song. My song. I've had this as my theme song since it came out, daumn. 🤗
It's a brilliant song, I can see why it's so popular 😁
This is one of my new favorite reactions you've done Lee. Great from the start all the way thru 🔥😁
By the way.....you're a cweep🤣🤣🤣

@@infin8reactions thanks means the world to me. But going through some tough times. May need more time to deal with it all. OK. I stay subscribed and sit back and watch. Maybe peek in on a live....
Awesome, You're more than welcome to 😁🤘
@@infin8reactions it would be my pleasure. Be there! Or try hard!
@@infin8reactions thanks. But will only request Radiohead. No. Kidding. They are good though....
Beautiful golden oldie. Thought you'd have heard of this! x
It was about a girl he knew at Uni, he couldn't approach her , he didn't feel he was in the same league. However one night he got drunk and told her but it was late at night on Campus and she was understandably freaked out, she'd never seen him before and she ran away. Hence the line "She's running again" . Apparently, though not confirmed, she turned up at one of their gigs years later when they were mega stars. He found out she was there and almost couldn't go on stage. Some diehard Radiohead fans say he has disowned the song now, whether its still too painful for him or whether he is just sick of singing it , who knows. There is a live version on UA-cam you need to see , if you search "Creep best live version" you will find it. His performance is incredible
Such a killer composition. 👊 This song is as legendary, as Hey Man, nice shot by Filter. 🤘
Great reaction :)
🔥
Привет из России, люблю Тома Йорка, классика рока 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Good to hear a voice not only from UK, but up North👍✊♥️😉
Almost unheard on u tube, you got a follow for that alone 👍😉♥️
Muse sounds like Radiohead
Matt Bellamy (Muse) was indeed heavily inspired by Thom Yorke (Radiohead) in his vocal style :)
Muse is like radiohead
At the end where he goes quiet, it's as if he has given up. He has no more fight in him and has resigned himself to being alone.
OMG Radio Head came first
They were before Muse.
Uh...hate to tell ya, but the chord progression got them sued by The Hollies for The Air that I Breathe. They settled and had to give The Hollies an undisclosed percentage of royalties.
Really? Aw man that sucks!
Radiohead came along long before Muse.
Radiohead is the only band I compare to the Beatles and they may be the most critically acclaimed band since them. If you poke around You Tube you can see how many serious Jazz and even Classical musicians like to cover them because they are so unconventional and many heads of many music depts. and music academies use their music at shows and a couple of them wrote books about their music and theory. They do not sound anything like the Beatles but their career progression is very much like theirs they change their style on every record but it somehow still sounds like them. You should delve in to them I am surprised you have not already.
I would also suggest Tom Ellis's cover of this song from his show "Lucifer" -- you can find a clip of it on UA-cam and it's absolutely brilliant! (For context, if you watch it: Tom plays Lucifer, the fallen angel, and the woman he loves had just found out what he was and run away to the Vatican in fear. Knowing that adds so much meaning to every word in the lyrics.)
Next Radiohead song has to be either Paranoid Android or Karma Police, they're one of those bands who had an early rock sound and became a hit for that but then they changed their path and became more of an experimental band and did what they liked despite what they were popular for yet they still perfected their music imo and have very very very few bad songs. No album sounds like the other (and no track does either)
That was haaaaadar….but it was kewl…..
Muse copied Radiohead in many ways.
Tom York doesn't want to sing it anymore, for this song was his suicidal mind on display and he hates to be reminded of that part of his life.
How can you be from UK & not know Creep?????
Easily, the clue is in your question...
I'm from the UK and I haven't heard it until now.. simple!
I'm sorry I don't mean to troll.. but I don't buy that you haven't heard this before... This is like a monumental globally liked song from a little ways back.. and you aint no kid... no way you haven't heard this song unless you grew up in the basement of a castle somewhere... lol
That's ok, you're entitled to your opinion, you are wrong tho, I always say In my videos if I've heard a song.
@@infin8reactions k, rite on friend, have a good day/night~
