I have suffered from manic depression since I was a teenager. After my divorce many years ago, I became more depressed than anything and have never found real pleasure in anything since. I am a revert of about a year and half. I have found more help in Islam than anywhere else. Allahu Akhbar. It gives me hope, and the lifestyle does not allow you to have time to think of your troubles. If you make your salat, read Quran, listen to things like Mufti Menk, it builds up your inner core, and gives you hope. There is always hope.....how you feel and live should never be based on circumstances. Those change minute to minute. Our hope is in Allah.....

I am a reborn Islam for Allah and to my husband. I suffered from Post partum depression lately normally experienced to those women after giving birth, it last for a month and I noticed I am already in lost control with myself affecting my daughter, I told myself "This is not good anymore." I talked with my husband that night of what I am experiencing then in the next day accidentally I download a qur-an in my phone and started to hear mufti menk reminders video before I go to sleep or during my leisure time. SubhanAllah!! All praise to allah, back then Alhamdulillah I am feeling better right now and my relationship with my daughter and to my husband is getting better now. Allahuakbar!!☺

Assalamu alikum. That story is very close to me. My wife who converted just before we married by her choice. But she fell away from Islam. 2 months after birth she distant herself Islam and me and now has turned into the complete opposite person. And no longer sees the peace in Islam. Baby is just over 5 months and she has only grown more distant from me. Pray for her, I’m fighting depression and these videos help. When I met her I prayed for us. And now I pray for her again. I love Allah for testing me. I am going through a difficult time in my life. My mother had a heart attack last weekend and had to go into the hospital to have stints put in. I had been grieving and worried sick all week, but I have been turning to Allah the Almighty in prayer, and I am content of heart to know without a doubt that my beautiful mother is in the hands of God. Hi. Allah is the creator of the heavens and the earth. He is the lord. The master. The owner. The creator. The sustainer. The everliving. The king. The almighty. He is one. He is eternal. He was neither begotten nor begets. And there is nothing like unto him. He created us to worship him alone without associating partners with him. Strict pure monotheism. And he sent prophets and messengers starting with Adam all the way to the last and final prophet which is Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon them both). And there prophets in between like Noah and Moses and Jesus and so many others (peace and blessings be upon them all). They all came with the same message to worship Allah alone. You only pray and supplicate and invoke Allah. There is no intermediary between you and Allah. He is the all hearing the all seeing the all knowing. Allah knows what is in the darkness of belly of the whale in the darkness of ocean in the darkness of night. Nothing escapes Allah. When you call upon him he hears. And he knows. You have a direct relationship with Allah without having to go through anyone. And whoever believes in Allah and worships him and believes in the religion he approved for us which is Islam and the final prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) then Allah will place them into paradise. Allah describes paradise in the Quran. No eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard, no mind has ever imagined. It's something that is not even imaginable.

And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose parts from ayah number 2 and 3 from Surah Talaq (65)

sometimes I am so sad I can not get myself up to make salaat even while I can hear the call of the adhan! May Allah make it easy for me. My sadness is being away from my ppl for years and feeling stock in this country! I pray that Allah remove these burdens from my life very soon in sha Allah! Start with the fard prayers. Remember the last words of the Prophet Pbuh was " hold onto your salah"- fight shaitaan and release yourself from his shackles. Pray because u must be thankful to Allah for the life u have.

I feel depressed and sad everyday, I'm envious of so many people and wish I could be like them and I've lost a really close friends and i feel like I have no one. I feel so worthless.
I'm not a religious nut, but I can promise you things always get better. What your feeling now is temporary pain, kinda like period pain 😅 and trust me, popularity is just a temporary thing, no one stays on top for long, one day things will get better, I promise you that. Keep your chin up and smile no matter how much it hurts inside, remember people who can take the pain and keep moving forward are winners, no one gets anywhere without hard work and effort 😀 cheer up.
+mark mathews - If you look at people who appear to be better off (better car, better house etc) then you will never be happy. Look at those who are worst off than you - there are people dying of hunger, disabled and sick - then you will realise how well off you are and then you should thanks GOD.

I have suffered from manic depression since I was a teenager. After my divorce many years ago, I became more depressed than anything and have never found real pleasure in anything since. I am a revert of about a year and half. I have found more help in Islam than anywhere else. Allahu Akhbar. It gives me hope, and the lifestyle does not allow you to have time to think of your troubles. If you make your salat, read Quran, listen to things like Mufti Menk, it builds up your inner core, and gives you hope. There is always hope.....how you feel and live should never be based on circumstances. Those change minute to minute. Our hope is in Allah.....

I am a reborn Islam for Allah and to my husband. I suffered from Post partum depression lately normally experienced to those women after giving birth, it last for a month and I noticed I am already in lost control with myself affecting my daughter, I told myself "This is not good anymore." I talked with my husband that night of what I am experiencing then in the next day accidentally I download a qur-an in my phone and started to hear mufti menk reminders video before I go to sleep or during my leisure time. SubhanAllah!! All praise to allah, back then Alhamdulillah I am feeling better right now and my relationship with my daughter and to my husband is getting better now. Allahuakbar!!☺

Assalamu alikum. That story is very close to me. My wife who converted just before we married by her choice. But she fell away from Islam. 2 months after birth she distant herself Islam and me and now has turned into the complete opposite person. And no longer sees the peace in Islam. Baby is just over 5 months and she has only grown more distant from me. Pray for her, I’m fighting depression and these videos help. When I met her I prayed for us. And now I pray for her again. I love Allah for testing me. I am going through a difficult time in my life. My mother had a heart attack last weekend and had to go into the hospital to have stints put in. I had been grieving and worried sick all week, but I have been turning to Allah the Almighty in prayer, and I am content of heart to know without a doubt that my beautiful mother is in the hands of God. Hi. Allah is the creator of the heavens and the earth. He is the lord. The master. The owner. The creator. The sustainer. The everliving. The king. The almighty. He is one. He is eternal. He was neither begotten nor begets. And there is nothing like unto him. He created us to worship him alone without associating partners with him. Strict pure monotheism. And he sent prophets and messengers starting with Adam all the way to the last and final prophet which is Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon them both). And there prophets in between like Noah and Moses and Jesus and so many others (peace and blessings be upon them all). They all came with the same message to worship Allah alone. You only pray and supplicate and invoke Allah. There is no intermediary between you and Allah. He is the all hearing the all seeing the all knowing. Allah knows what is in the darkness of belly of the whale in the darkness of ocean in the darkness of night. Nothing escapes Allah. When you call upon him he hears. And he knows. You have a direct relationship with Allah without having to go through anyone. And whoever believes in Allah and worships him and believes in the religion he approved for us which is Islam and the final prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) then Allah will place them into paradise. Allah describes paradise in the Quran. No eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard, no mind has ever imagined. It's something that is not even imaginable.

Start with the fard prayers. Remember the last words of the Prophet Pbuh was " hold onto your salah"- fight shaitaan and release yourself from his shackles. Pray because u must be thankful to Allah for the life u have.
I am in super severe depression due to bad financial decision mistake that lead me my wife n kids in jeopardy.. When I feel so sad then in Salah time or Quran reciting time my tears comes out so heavily that my tears and sadness makes a gloomy impact on me! I never feel happy after Salah or Recitation at the time of my Sadness:(( But I know d problem is with me)...

I feel depressed and sad everyday, I'm envious of so many people and wish I could be like them and I've lost a really close friends and i feel like I have no one. I feel so worthless.
I'm not a religious nut, but I can promise you things always get better. What your feeling now is temporary pain, kinda like period pain 😅 and trust me, popularity is just a temporary thing, no one stays on top for long, one day things will get better, I promise you that. Keep your chin up and smile no matter how much it hurts inside, remember people who can take the pain and keep moving forward are winners, no one gets anywhere without hard work and effort 😀 cheer up.

...but Allah gave me this situation I don't know y allah showing me this days. i m a Hindu girl converted to Muslim married to Muslim boy 10 yrs of marriage life ..not having kid...my parents are not talking with me because of i accept Islam ..what to do.
