You are not only working on your property but teaching us all how to keep going through adversity. We all really do appreciate what you do and how you share
In spite of the fire and then the flood, your new property is still absolutely beautiful! You are a remarkable person Theo and I’m so glad help is on the way. I just wish you and Bee weren’t so far away bc I do believe there are many of us subscribers who would gladly come to your rescue. Stay strong. Tell Bee she is missed.💛 Better days are ahead👍🇺🇸
Bee, I know it’s hard to face what happened to your paradise. I empathize with you completely. The new land needs you. Theo needs you. You will heal together. It takes time, but it really does happen. The Earth WANTS to regrow! You will love your place again, I don’t promise this lightly. Theo, your ability to just keep going is incredibly admirable, just know it’s ok to not be ok. Nothing but ❤for you both!
Oh my gosh! What a big, messy, dirty job! Theo, you are such a hard worker! I'm knackered and I'm just *watching* you work! Your property is stunning, even with the fire and flood damage. Love the drone shots. You and Bee invested in a treasure! So proud of you both for achieving your dreams! 💙
I'm so very proud of you guys! I can't imagine how proud your family's must be!! You move forward with so much grace! Thank you for sharing and giving me courage to move forward too. 🥰 Bea, love and hope coming your way!
Theo I can't find the words to express how you amaze me. Your tenacity and positivity are astounding. You have taught me so much about continuing through adversity and how we have to keep moving forward. You work so hard, please remember to take care of yourself within all this. We're all cheering you on, both of you. Xxx
Theo, if you leave the roots then they will either be mulch and help things not erode so badly, or give the plants a better chance to come back from the roots.
Theo, I don't know if I have ever seen a person so hard working and persistent as you are, respect!!! You have a huge elephant ahead of you, many bites till the end and if anyone in the world can do it, it's you! Love to Bee:)))
i feel so sorry for theo he always has to do it alone it seems... i hope your help comes soon.. you really are a strong person theo... good for you !!!!
Theo you're an absolute trooper. Your work ethic is incredible, and to see the progress you're making is inspiring. Please give Bee my love, tell her to keep getting well, we miss her but her healing is the most important thing. Love to you both xx
Theo, I heard you comment on having autism at some point and that your school had said not to expect much. I hope everyone of them is learning from their lack of experience so they can help other children reach their potential. You have achieved more than a lot of people have without autism. You are an inspiration.
Dear Theo my heart aches for you & Bea. I miss Bea, you two are such a great team. You’ve had a traumatic experience, you are one hard worker & your followers are all proud of you. Glad you have some help coming. Praying for you both. Your photographer is doing a fantastic job. ~ FlowerLady
Theo, I can only think that few men would work so hard by themselves as you do. Your determination and work ethics are beyond amazing! Thank you for sharing your and Bea's lives with us. You two deserve only the very best. I miss seeing your animals. I pray that we will see Bea in the near future. Love and best wishes to you two wonderful people.
Glad to hear help is coming. Theo, you always amaze me with your determination and perseverance. Love to Bea. We miss her, but we know she needs this time. Your property is beautiful.
Wow, I am so impressed with how thorough you are. You just keep on doing. This attitude is worth gold and I am sure it will pay off. Love to the both of you.
Glad to hear you say you have some help coming next week. You must hire help. You have your mental as well as physical health to consider. Plus you also have dear Bee. Our hearts break for you as you work to recover from these 2 huge disasters to your new homestead. Not even a Superman like you should take this on alone. We love you.
Theo you are such a hard worker and I absolutely love how you just get on with things despite the devastation. Bee I hope you’re doing better. I miss you 😘
Theo, what a steadfast man you are and so appreciate your videos. I am an old lady but your persistance to bring this land up to where it was before the fire and floods. Looking at the comments on your site you have some faithful followers. Love to Bea as well.
Theo, you’re amazing - you don’t shy away from challenging tasks! I love seeing how knowledgeable you are now because you learned so much from owning the other property and working on the tiny home. I was pretty sure you were going to need a digger after I watched the video that showed the fire and flood damage - there’s just too much soil and too many big rocks that need to be moved.
Years ago, on our farm, we used what we called a stone boat. Simple tool. We took a piece of plywood, added some eye bolts and chain to attach to the tractor. It was flat and dragged behind the tractor. It could carry anything. In your case, using the ATV, you could add extra eye bolts for straps and carry the tanks up closer to where you need them.
It is bittersweet that you and Bea have so many supporters around the world, but we are unable to get there to help in so many ways. Prayers and a few dollars are what I can do. Love to you and Bea.
Theo, you are working so hard by yourself. You need to reach out to the locals that are there. I'm sure they will be more than willing to help out. Harriet and I bow to you for what you have accomplished so far. We support you every step of the way. 🙏🙏 Jim and Harriet. Richmond, Va.
Theo… you are truly amazing and everyone is so proud of how you are gradually restoring your beautiful property for you and Bea! We’re all praying for praying for Bea and send plenty of support and hugs your way from 🥰🥰🤗🦋🇨🇦
Theo, my wife and I truly enjoy your videos and comments within. If there was one suggestion we could provide is to number your videos so that we can watch them in order. Right now we watch them on UA-cam and we never know what sequence they are in. Thanks and we hope you and Bee are all in great health.
Theo I know it is hard but out of the ashes comes the beauty. Your beautiful wife will be by your side again soon. Nature always heals itself. It is just that the work we have to do to get where we have to be is so hard sometimes. You are doing a great job and I know your lovely Bea is also. My prayers are with you both. Help is on the way
Tip that I've learned from the many forest fires in Portugal.. don't cut the trees until the next spring.. a lot of trees (even the trees that are not fire resistant) will come to life in the spring 💪
You are such a hard worker. The world could take a lesson on your work ethic. Congratulations on your new property. It's truly a magical place. One day at a time and one project at a time. I know you will figure it out.
You are one hard working guy! A digger and 20 men would definitely help you. You and Bee are amazing and we are sending you both love and hugs. You are doing a fantastic job.
How is Bee doing, Theo? 🐝🌻❤️ Definitely look into purchading some kind of digger for your new property. Also, would putting an additional 5000L tank about halfway down the mountain help with your water situation. Having to haul 3 of the 2000L tanks with the ATV is goingto be daunting enough. If you have an extra tank at the midway point it should help in case you have an issue, I would think.
Sir besides being so intelligent and having such perseverance you are a hard worker and don’t let anything stop you! Your skills take you to a new level with each video! I pray for you both daily . It’s got to be hard after a fire and flood but with your dream in hand you keep going. Much love to you both and prayers also for bea that she gets better with eac passing day.🥰❤️
Theo you are a beast!! What a hard worker you are!! With your arm injury, fatigue and the emotional turmoil being worried about Bee and getting the work done, I admire your tenacity but worry about your physical and emotional health. Please, you and Bee need to take of yourselves and each other! Hugs from 🇨🇦
Can I say, I am just so proud of you. Your strength and fortitude has me amazed. The size of this job ahead of you has me stuned. Several times I have come to the edge of tears over what has happened and what you are going through. God Bless you Theo and Bea. May God impart all the strength and power needed to set your home and property straight. Much love from Florida, USA
So strange. I'm watching you enjoy your Canadian trip with Tread the Globe and the property work in Portugal at the same time. I hope Bea is recovering and that we'll see her soon. Theo, you are doing a monumental job.
Theo I am so glad you have such a good grasp of plumbing issues so you are able to begin the restoration. Most people would not even know where to begin. One step at a time. Very interesting videos. Thank you for sharing. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦
Cut damaged ends of pipes off straight. Use a pipe collar to join two pipes together with pipe glue. Don't try to melt pipes, won't have strength. Clean joints are strong joints. In the long run its less expensive and maintenance intensive to do the job right and less expensive in the long run.
When I was working on my house I brought a 1.5 tonne mini digger and had it for a couple of years working on the property then sold it again for what I paid for it. Can't beat that IMO.
Red poppy Ranch just put in water tanks above his home in Idaho and he dug into the hillside behind him and used railroad ties to make a building to put the tanks in and then he put dirt up against all the walls to protect from fire freezing all that stuff you could use Rock to make walls around your tanks to protect them from the next fire if there ever is one
It's great to see you smiling through your work. You have seemed down but it appears you have turn a corner and looking ahead. So proud of you two. Love to Bee ❤️
Your property will be all beautiful and livable with your pioneer spirit. You have the willingness to do whatever needs to be done. When you can smile while completing each task says so much about you. I pray for Bea to gain strength from your accomplishments to see that step by step it will transform again to what it was. Hugs and strength along with all the good things that can help you achieve all your dreams. One day at a time🥰🌈
I love to see you laughing at yourself when you got slapped in the face with the yuck lol you're such a lovely soul. Don't let everything overwhelm you. Take time out for yourself and only focus on the day's tasks. Miss seeing Bea with you. Let her know she is in our prayers and thoughts. Hang in their guys. This too will pass, and the beauty will rise amongst the ashes.
Theo and Bea, your New property is so big and beautiful! I''m happy to hear that Bea is back at home. I hope someone is with her to keep her company so she doesn't get lonely while you're working on the new place. I hope she's feeling better. Give her my love, for although we've never met, you two are really dear to my heart, after following you almost from the beginnig of your barn renovation. You're also in my prayers as I Knowles how hard it can be for à person dealing with mental health issues. It's not something you can just push aside. But your love for each other as well as the prayers of many of your followers will help you get through the hard times
Whomever originally designed that water harvesting for your land was genius. Theo you'll do well to draw up a schematics for prosperity. I admire your dedication to your land.
Theo and Bea, please don't worry about what is going wrong. Life is a learning skills that teach us about what is important and what is not. All you can do is ur very best and u will get there in time. Don't overwhelm ur life, is not worth it. U will make this place amazing take ur time. 🙏🏻🥰🇵🇷
Post forest fires the rainwater run off can be a major problem for years. You need to find ways to direct that runoff so as to not lose soil. So berms or devices to absorb and direct the flow are necessary. planting grasses in the fall will also obviate runoff during the coming years faster than trees. Yes you are in need of a tracked backhoe.
I hope your both recovering well and hope Bea is able to positively see things that matters and forget what other people say. Who cares what they think. Whoever say anything negative it’s because they are unhappy about their life. We miss you being with us. But no pressure. I can imagine it’s going to be a little paradise when your both living there full time☺️😻. Theo, enjoy the digging!😀 😅
Think it was just that she was only just struggling to cope with the fire damage and then the nastiness on top was too much. It's called kicking someone when they are down and incredibly cruel. We all say ignore them but easier said than done when you have a sensitive heart.
Good on you Theo. What an absolute stinker of a job... "but somebody's gotta do it"!! You made a lot of progress today so I hope you're genuinely pleased. I doubt Bea let you in like that... out you go to the shower lad!! All good stuff. And isn't it so wonderful seeing how much is turning green since the fire now behind you. Keep your spirit lad! We'll done. all best wishes, Pam
Heartbreaking seeing all the damage it has done to the property, so much work for you to have to do to get it back to what it was before. Beautiful property 😁
Great work Leo. Buying a digger is maybe a good, there's a lot of land there, you will use it again and agin. If you no longer need it, sell it, but i doubt you ever will. Carry on carrying on.
Theo, I can well imagine you feeling overwhelmed with the amount of work needed to be done! I think of the people who moved there initially, and them setting it all up in the beginning, and in a way you're the one who's 'new' and renewing the land and property. Yes you've have a mountain of work, but equally, you have the time, there is no rush! You have the rest of your life to fix it all up and make it even more amazing that it already is.
Bea we’re thinking of you and hope you know others care and wish the best for you and Theo. Looking for the day you’re feeling stronger and we see your lovely face again. 💕
I can’t believe how you just keep going Theo!! I know you’re tired but thankfully your positive nature keeps you going! Get the digger as surely you’ll need it in the future and as you two do so much work yourselves it has to make life easier! It’s still a beautiful property and I cannot wait to see the lake when it’s filled! Give my love to Bea and I hope she is feeling more positive! Take care both of you! Lorna xx❤️💙
It’s so hard to get back up after a blow such as your recent fire. But Theo you are doing much better than I ever could. Wishing you the best, and I hope Bea is back soon!
100% respect for your work ethic, Theo. You have accomplished LOT. 😳 You guys always make me think of these verses in the Bible: “Aspire to live quietly, to mind your own business, and to work with your hands” (1 Thessalonians 4:11). If you see this comment and you have time, let me know if the air smells like mountain air (like trees and leaves and fresh clean goodness) or if you can still smell the fire. I’m sure that sounds weird but it looks like it would smell like Colorado or Montana to me! Sending all the physical energy I’m not using to you 💪💪💪! And of course, sending hugs for Bee as well. 🤍
Theo, I admire your tenacity, but please don't overdo yourself. Not to mention that this must be emotionally exhausting, hang in there, you two are fighters and inspire us all. Sending big hugs to both of you.
See if there is a company or person in the area who digs wells and hire them to come up and dig out the dam. I have seen others in Portugal hire people to rescue wells and grade land and it was surprisingly affordable. Of course I don't know the cost of one and it could very well be a great tool for the farm? It would allow you to solve this water situation faster at least. You have done a superb job by yourself so far but I urge you to get help with this mammoth task.

It’s really interesting how you traced the water source back and figured out how to repair the whole shebang. Well done Theo!
Your filmmaking skills are formidable. What a lovely job you are doing on so many levels. Hope Bea is feeling better.
Looks like he has somebody running the camera
Loving the cases of giggles that Theo gets when faced with ridiculous scenarios!!! There's a reason why Bea and the rest of us luv ya to bits, Theo!!!

You’re in my heart and included in my prayer circle here in Arizona
I love to see you laughing at yourself when you got slapped in the face with the yuck lol you're such a lovely soul. Don't let everything overwhelm you.
Sending love, blessings and positivity. Stay strong. It’s a beautiful place and in the spring Mother Nature will really help out.

Good job!!
Just hang in there. I know things seem really tough but you can do it. Everything will get better.

One word INSPIRATIONAL!!!
Cheering you on! You're amazing!
Having your own digger might be the ticket. God you are so brave Theo, just getting on with it, you give me courage to work on my own projects.🥰🥰🥰
You are a huge inspiration.
You are one of a kind !
I’m so impress of what you can do…
Lovely to watch your determination yah you.
I admire your spirit and your fortitude! ✌️❤️😁🤙
