The body butter looks very nice, and the ingredients used in it are very well chosen, but I'm missing the most important information, which is how to store it and how long it can be used for. Thanks for sharing and also for the early reply. I am sending greetings from Bratislava - Slovakia...🇸🇰💕💕💕
Thanks for watching and I'm glad you like the video.✨✨🤗. Store it in a cool area away from direct sunlight. Too much heat will melt the product. It can last for up to 6 months. However, this may differ based on the expiration of the oils that you add to the product. For example- if an oil expires in the next 3 months and you add it to the body butter, chances are your body butter will become rancid well before the 6-9 months mark. Hope this helps. ❤️
@@lettsblend Thank you very much for your early and comprehensive reply. I am awaiting delivery of my shea butter order and will definitely make your body butter once I receive it. Have a nice day and thanks again...💕
Did you say you used Kokum butter? How do you keep it creamy? I used coconut, grape seed, apricot and rose seed hip, and a touch of tee tree oil and overnight it hardened while in jar.
Hey yes I did, it usually turns into a firm butter texture but nothing too hard. did you use the same formula in the video ? I would also increase the amount of oils if I wanted to maintain a creamy texture. hope this helps.
You can replace it with fragrance oil but it also depends on how strong you want the scent of the butter to be. If you put that much fragrance in there the scent of the butter will be really strong.
Yes, you can. However, you may have to adjust the amount of cocoa butter you use. It may make it too hard with just the cocoa butter. Put less cocoa butter and increase the amount of carrier oil. To get rid of the Shea butter
It's an oil based product so you don't have to put one in there but if you do use a preservative, use a oil soluble preservative. Another option is using vitamin E(NOT A PRESERVATIVE) oil to help extend the shelf life of your oils. hope this helps.
Yes, you can remove the shea butter butter and replace it with another butter. However, I wouldn't recommend equal parts mango butter and kokum butter at the listed 33% percentage. That might be too much hard butter and may result in a harder body butter. You can test out a small batch to see if you like that texture. If not try equal parts mango and kokum butter at 27 % and increase the amount of carrier oils. Let me know if this helps. don't forget to do a small batch test first. 🤗🤗
@lettsblend yours looker like less, but I think my scale was messed up because it started showing a different amount when i changed the batteries out. I plan on remaking this again since mine didn't turn out right originally because of the scale, it smells wonderful though ^_^

If I don’t use the colloidal oatmeal will it be greasy?😊
Not really, if you take it out you can just use another oil; instead of avocado oil because it is a heavier oil compared to the other carrier oils. 💚💛
Very nice kokum butter making videos mam thank you so much ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for watching and you're very welcome l. 💛💚
Are there no preservatives needed?
No, not in this one
Can i replace the EO's with FO at the same amount (7.2g)?
You can replace it with fragrance oil but it also depends on how strong you want the scent of the butter to be. If you put that much fragrance in there the scent of the butter will be really strong.
Hi! Can I sub cocoa butter for Shea butter? I am allergic to the Shea butter.

Can you add a preservative to this so it will last a little longer ?

What oil based preservative do you recommend?
You can use optiphen
@@lettsblend THANK YOU!

@lettsblend thanks so much will try this

Can i use kokum butter without shea?
Yes, you can, but you may want to increase the % of oils; only because kokum butter at a high % may give you a thicker butter. Hope this helps. 💚💛
Thanks for sharing would you mind selling me a jar? I really really need one.
Hi. Thanks for watching , I'm not selling them at the moment. 💛💚
does it melt when shipped ?
Yes, it does. If it's in heat for too long, it will start to melt; unless shipped with ice packs or something else to keep it cool.
Your 80 grams looks different than mine...for the kokum Butter
less or more?
@lettsblend yours looker like less, but I think my scale was messed up because it started showing a different amount when i changed the batteries out.

Okay, great, I'm glad you like it so far. 💜💙
