Nice result 🙂 Instead of making the black to transparent gradient on the sky, try duplicating the entire image and set the blending mode to multiply and then apply the layer mask and gradient. Then you get a coloured gradient instead of a "grey" gradient. You can turn down the saturation, if it's too much. Keep it up. Cheers from Denmark.
TIP! A more contrasty and awesome orton glow effect that I apply is as follows: 1) duplicate the final image onto a new layer 2) apply a blur to that image 3) EDIT> FADE GAUSSIAN BLUR 4) Set the blend mode to OVERLAY 5) Lower the opacity to around 30% or your liking. The result is a very contrasty Orton Effect. Pretty unique if you ask me. I hope you like it.
@@JaimeLacayoPTY Dude, this is insane!! How have I never heard of this method before, it looks so much better! I'm going to make a video about that one for sure, thank you so much for mentioning this!
WTF I was seriously thinking in asking you to make more of this kind of tutorials of another of my favourite photographers I follow on Instagram because you nailed the Max Rive one. Albert Dros was gonna be one of my suggestions and you read my mind! Thank you so much. It seems we have similar tastes. If you don't mind I can add as suggestions for future videos: Daniel Kordan (which is quite similar to Albert Dros style) and Fabio Antenore.
Thank you very much, very happy to hear you liked this one! Daniel Kordans style is definitely something I want to make a video about, just need to get the right image first! Also, I will put Fabio on that list as well :-)
Hi, thanks for the comment! Without having watched the online course, I'm sure its worth taking it since Albert is sooooo good at editing! There's a lot to learn from him!
Some nice techniques, but i find it is overdone. Too HDR and "kitschig". For my taste it is too digital/unrealistic and needs more dark depth and less glowing oversaturated parts. Do this just 50-60% and it would be fine for my taste…

Oh my God, thank you so much Albert, that means a lot to me!
WOW. Awesome!!! Thanks for checking out
Thank you for showing me how much I have to go when it comes to editing. You seriously take it to the next level.
Thank you very much!
Woe, I never knew how powerful camera raw filter can be. Can't wait to try some of your techniques.
“Bravo” Christian 👏👏👏
This is brilliant. Thank you! Oh, and the fact you edited all this without hitting the save button means you're a brave man. 😄
Thank you so much! I usually dont have any crashes with Photoshop haha
Incredible result Christian!!!

Hey, thanks for pointing out this technique! I will give it a try when I find the time!
Amazing and very helpful, i love dros’ style 😍
Thank you!
Thank you so much Christian! :)
Amazing 🔥🔥🔥🔥
A good start would be to crop out most of the road at the bottom of the image and straightening the scene as the tower is leaning to the right.

@@ThePhlogPhotography Awesome! please let me know what you think or if you can improve it a bit more.

Nice video. Could you please do a video on "how to edit like Mindzeye ?"
Thank you so much, that one is very high up on my to-do-list, just need to find the right photo :-)
Terrific.
Albert Dros uses the saturation and Vibrance sliders to achieve the results he gets. There is editorials up on UA-cam showing exactly how he does it
Was thinking the same thing. Too much radial filters. Albert's images have more saturation and pop. But this was an overall interesting tutorial
Show! A video how to edit photos like Kordan would be great too... hehehe
Thanks for commenting, I will do a Video for the style of Daniel Kordan as soon as I shoot the right photo for that! :-)
Hi Christian,
Is it worth to take his online course of editing? Do you recommend?
Thanks

I don't know who Alber dros is but after watching this tutorial i sure can edit better then he does
Das ist doch Überlingen :-)
Genau! Schönste Städtle am Bodensee :-)
Fine if you want your images to look like you processed them in CS5.
20 sec on iPhone preset filter = 21 min of this. Noone see the difference.
you maka a photo that never exist

If I want my photography look like outdat😢 Kinkade art, I will do this edit. Otherwise- no.
10 useless steps in, you can do the same results with way less steps
Yo momma can do the same results with way less steps
Hate this overprocessed photos
Then dont edit like this. Easy fix
