Selena an absolute Legend, an Icon, so humbled and respectful, she was to electrify the stage, to blow the roof off the building, miss you Selena you are missed so much, R.I.P, your still alive in our hearts
I get choked up every time I finish seeing one of her performances. I get so happppy watching her, I'm immediately transported to my childhood. Wish she was still here.
And just FYI, the stage was spinning the whole concert... like you see her waving all the time it’s because she was seeing different people in the crowd ...
Thiago Sar my first concert was Charlie Rich and I was probably 7 years old (so 1973), they didn’t have the tv monitors or big screens yet. I remember thinking...this thing need to turn faster!
I was thinking of entertainers who were on the same level as Selena as far as charisma, sexiness, and dancing ability! I could only come up with Michael Jackson,Tina Turner, and Ann-Margret! Thank you for reacting to Selena, she was an absolute joy to watch perform!
I love the reviews on Selena. She’s exactly everything you said. And she didn’t have to do any sensual dances or wear almost no clothes to captivate her audience. She did it with her talent, that voice, smile, carisma. And all her songs were clean, no sexual content! We lost such an amazing artist!
Selena, la gran artista , y el gran legado que dejó, los tonos de su voz , magníficos, allí se ve el gran talento vocal que poseía, una reyna en el escenario .....
26 years later I still listen to and dance with her music. Now my 7 years old daughter sings with me and we get to create memories with her legacy. Selena lives in our memories through her music.
I can never get tired of watching Selena's performances because they are so much fun. You'd have to be such a boring person if this song Bidi bidi bom bom doesn't get you off your feel and makes you want to dance. Thank you so much guys for making me happy every time I see you both react to Selena; you both are very awesome!!
Thank you for the Selena reaction. I love Selena. She was an amazing young woman. I was actually here at this concert to see her live. I’m from Corpus Christi Texas so I got to see Selena perform many times. Continue doing Selena reactions. I’m definitely subscribing to you guys. You guys are awesome 👏
@@CesarGonzalez-ge5bi no me vengas con estupideces, ella se casó con el hombre que amo, aunque si su familia estuvo en desacuerdo con la relación, ella se casó a escondidas, con el hombre que amo.
More than 64,000 people attended that show at the Astrodome and millions watched it when it was televised live! I still remember watching it and on TV and thinking, “Wow! She’s from South Texas just like us. She’s going to be bigger than any performer out there!” She had only just begun.
Don't hate on Jlo. There was a reason she was chosen. I understand JLO doesn't sing like Selena but the woman can act. She did justice to the Selena movie. Oh, and Selena wasn't the JLO's first big break, get your facts right sweetie.
I love how you reacted to Selena at a Michael Jackson level - she's always electrifies me the magnitude was astronomical that I never thought of it that way. Thanks for the insightful feedbacks. This is musicology.
Do not understand what she saying, but I love the way she says it!!!! She was on her way to being the biggest entertainer ever! She was took from us way too early!
She had an amazing gift. Not all the music artists have this charisma and aura. She was and still is a very important person to all Latinos. ❤❤ she will always be in our hearts

Fiesta de La Flor is the name of the annual Selena tribute concert , that and Selena Vive. Different Latin artists including Kumbia Kings and Chris Perez band pay tribute to Selena in both.
Janet Jackson and Michael Jackson were actually two of her biggest influences. She even does part of Janet's Rhythm Nation choreography in one performance. She always wanted to be a pop/dance music performer but Tejano music, which she grew to love performing, was what she was kind of forced into as a kid and it became her career. It just really sucks that she had to be killed at all but especially right at the moment when she was finally getting that break she worked for for so many years. She had recorded half of her first English, pop record and was a week away from filming the first video for I Could Fall in Love. You should definitely check out the english songs she got to record, even though she never had a chance to perform them live. That song and Dreaming of You were the two singles released from that partial album and they are both great.
SELENA is important to all peoples. Did y'all see a contestant on the Voice sing 'Dreaming of You'? She was pretty good of course not a SELENA, SELENA is the original. Not that she was trying to be her. Just saying.😍
A talented queen, indeed. What is not well known, outside the Latino community, is that her brother (who played base guitar in her band and was her song writer) later formed a successful group called Kumbia Kings. Their music style was a combination of Kumbia, hip hop, and R&B. Feel free to check out some of their hits like Boom Boom”, “Shhh!”, “Azucar”, and “Fuiste Mala”. They were a talented family
Muy buenos fias geniosss.me encantaría que reacciones a Selena la canción de baila esta cumbia en vivo. Del programa de Verónica Castro. Esta increibleeeeee. Muchas gracias besos. Desde Argentina
Too funny but Loved how you picked up your hands like you were at the concert as well 3:03 so awesome and you telling him to pick up his hands too that was great! Loved it!🤗😁👏💞 !! I just had to put this out there! Thanks guys much Love! From Texas!

You guys should listen to her song “I’m Getting Used to You”, it was on the English language album she was working on when she passed. One of her lesser known english songs. Sadly she never got to perform it. On another note, I heard a statistic that she has sold more than 60 million albums worldwide. That was of course mainly her music in Spanish. She really was about to conquer the world with the english crossover. So sad yet thankful for her life. Thank you guys for reviewing her music. Ive definitely have gotten joy out of your videos.
I am a Bronx born grew up on hip hop r&b and freestyle music. I was 17 yrs old and I was flipping channels one midnight in November of 94, and the Johnny cáñales show had her performing the song “No Debes Jugar” and I instantly became her fan. Even though it’s not my kind of music, but what caught my attention was her style of clothing, the song, and she was Latina with a curvy body like mine. It’s amazing that so many yrs later even though she is not here, people are learning about her and actually liking her music. Selena was special. I was in shock and in disbelieve when I read about her death on the Daily news back then. May she continue to inspire many generations to come. May Selena Quintanilla continue to Rest In Peace.
No playback, no lipsyncing just her amazing voice.
She is! Her and Michael had very similar beginnings. They were just born to entertain.
