why is it outrageous? Just shows how antisemitic the uk public are that when a man is threatened to be arrested because of being Jewish, we are told it is his fault. Attending a pro-Palestinian rally whilst being Jewish hardly constitutes a breach of the peace, does it?

Yep. The video clearly shows falter was an A-Hole. The Met police clearly explained and even offered to escort him safely to his destination.

I really do not why we are wasting time on this. The Police were correct in their approach. If two elements of a provocative demonstration are allowed to come into contact all hell would break loose with danger to life and property. He was wearing a kippah and the Sergeant quite rightly said he was openly Jewish, the inference being in the circumstances of the prevailing mood it could be construed as provocative. There's nothing wrong with that or the language. I thought Jews were a little bit more thick-skinned than that. I think Mr Falter could spend his time more productively by protesting outside the Israeli Embassy against the continued unacceptable bombing of Gaza. Even in a boxing match, one boxer is not allowed to hit the other once he is on the canvas. After the horrendous terrorist action by Hamas last October, Israel was the aggrieved but the continued action of the most violent form by the I.D.F. when the enemy is not a cohesive fighting force has managed to turn the position around whereby the Palestinian People are the aggrieved.

The police officer as i said in other comments said the right thing in a bad way which didnt help matters yet he done nothing wrong and to call for the resignation of any officer at all is just ridiculous after seeing this new footage.
The truth may be hard to swallow for certain people but falter is not the victim here, he is the instigator.
Those that suffered at the hands of monsters during a terrible time in our history would be ashamed that some of their people have turned out this way, people that would use their suffering as a weapon against others.
