I was so young that I couldn't remember the older maps but I will always remember the baby blue van and the city background for the heist start ups and the music and some other stuff. The first few heists at the start of notoriety were most likely inspired by: Warehouse: Shadow Raid (Bain) / Meltdown (Vlad) and Mallcrasher, which is the same in Payday 2, is a contract from Vlad where you destroy a mall. I think it's because the mall company (Shield) forgot to pay his friend.
If I remember correctly, according to the wiki only six heists in the game is "100% original content" while the rest are either Inspired or copied directly from Payday 2.

Notoriety history a little bit rattle snake use to be the best weapon bronco and the judge were the 2 best pistols only getting beaten by the bronco because the judge did 95 damage and the bronco did 100 damage and you can also shoot open a lot of doors in almost every mission

i like notoriety more but entry point does have a much better story line.
