Opae'ula Hawaiian Red Shrimp, Custom laboratory glass Aquarium - part 2

Made a mistake when discussing the mixing of brackish water. I said the density range was 1.014-1.016. I realized my mistake before mixing and adjusted to the proper density of 1.0114-1.0122. Actually you will find that people use quite a range of density when making the brackish water. These shrimp live in conditions of almost fresh water to near full seawater. I ended up going with 1.012 for my brackish water mixture. If you want to adapt fresh water plants to your brackish water Opae tank then I would go with the lower density value. PH should be 8.2-8.4. Ammonia close to 0, Nitrates less then 10ppm. Best temperature range is 68F-75F but shrimp will survive in 60F-80F range.
