@@Luguolo Also, now that Streamlabs Desktop has Collab feature I don't use any outside software, such as zoom or skype anymore so it is now a much simpler process for me.

Thanks for the video! Although in the end I got much better control over audio by purchasing the standalone virtual cables and only using them and not using voicemeter at all. 1. Route Game & Music to audio cable A & B 2. Monitor both audio cables A & B in windows settings (So I can hear them) 3. Audio output capture to cables a & b in OBS Worth noting that my OBS has every audio track individually controlled, I don't capture desktop audio. :)
I've watched these tutorials a dozen times, but yours is the one that finally made it click. Rocking a setup with dual headphones for when I walk afk, isolation for groupchat when focusing on the game stream, and polished up my mic gain. You absolutely rock.
No, you rock. Enjoy the software! I also released a video recently about their new update and the new streamer view. It’s a huge add on to voice meter and you should check it out
If you changed the settings in windows like he said, but it looks like the Voicemeeter AUX section is not picking up your Spotify/iTunes/other music player like at 7:56, be sure to RESTART the music player. It wasn't picking it up at first, after restarting iTunes it did. Everything in this tutorial works perfectly. AMAZING video.
Hands down the best guide for Voicemeeter, I've watched countless guides and they all contradict each other but this 1 is the clearest and most precise I have seen.
everytime i change something, i still come back and rewatch this because i always miss a step. much love DC for your tutorial. it is the best out here for VMB virtual cables!
The only problem with this guide is that if you follow the instructions as-is, then at 2:55 when you tell us to switch our output to voicemeter we can no longer hear your instructions because UA-cam audio is playing on channel that isn't set up. I suggest people using this either watch the vid on their phone as they set up their PC for voicemeter or watch through the video, take notes and replicate the steps afterward. Otherwise though a great vid and it helped me finally set up this complicated program tysm.
Awesome guide! Seen a bunch of these guides in the past, as I always forgot how I need to setup Voicemeter Banana when I have to do a fresh install, but this has been by far the most simple and easy to set up for my needs!
You definitly deserve a follow, I have listen to at least 5 videos until find yours and I never been so happy to find something. You answered all my question!
It took me coming to this video and having you go through each part for me to realize that I had the wrong VoiceMeeter window open lol. Thank you for helping break everything down and point at the different sections. Such a huge help!!
Thanks so much for this video! I followed several other tutorials for setting up Voicemeeter, and I kept ending up with technical difficulties. I went through yours once and everything worked perfectly, even the in game voice chat in Phasmophobia which I was finding it impossible to get to work properly when I followed other tutorials. All I had to do for Phasmo was choose the CABLE Output as the "mic" in the Phasmo audio options. Thank you again!!
Damn son, this actually helped, thank you very much! If someone reads this and has trouble because your sound turns off when changing stuff, make sure that A1 is turned on in the 4th sound bar and start VoiceMeeter BEFORE your browser.
The best video about Voicemeeter. Especially about disabling the B1 on other channels, I never understood why but mine's disabled; you're the only one who explained it and disabled it as well. Thank you
I have been trying for so long to find a way to separate discord, my mic and game sounds from spotify so that I can have everything but spotify go to my VOD and I finally found it with this video! I'm so excited, thank you! I thought it was intimidating and going to be difficult but you explained it perfectly.
Thank you for this video! I spent a few hours watching different videos that captured parts of what you covered, but yours was the first that had it all in one place, was concise and clear, and kept a reasonable watch time. Cheers!!!
Love this tutorial few things: 1. If you follow the guide step by step you may stop hearing audio - just include your headset in on A1 so you can keep following along :) 2. in Streamlabs/OBS you can set your twitch vods settings to still merge all audio on track 1 to push to stream, but with that setting selected (Twitch VOD) you can set track 6 (or whatever) to not push music to your twitch vods (which is super helpful). 3. If you record your twitch streams, setting each of those four inputs/outputs to seperate recording tracks can save a TON of editing time and helps with boosting a quiet friend's audio in post, or removing music, or even adjusting game volume so people are heard more clearly in your videos. 4. I listen to music on UA-cam as well as Spotify, i put both Chrome and spotify as the same output setting as he did here, never had a problem (just don't listen to music over top of watching a video or something)

Great work on this video.
