So that I can make these videos available, I need to state that you must take responsibility for your own well-being if you choose to tap along. While I'm confident that tapping along with this video can provide great benefits, I make no claims as to what, if any, benefits you will receive. While EFT has yielded impressive results in treating physical and psychological issues, not everyone will benefit in the same way. I am not a doctor, and the information presented here is not intended to replace appropriate treatment by a physician or mental health professional. EFT is still in the experimental stage and, while a growing number of PhD's and MD's are adopting it, we cannot claim that it is risk-free. I am unaware of anyone experiencing negative side effects from using these videos, but different people require different care, and depending on a number of variables, it is possible you could uncover deeper issues within the process that this video is not able to address. It is recommended that you consult a qualified health practitioner prior to using this technique.
That being said, I hope you will enjoy this video and find it beneficial, and that you will share it with others.
This is certainly not intended to be a comprehensive handling of the subject -- I can only cover so much in 5-10 minutes...! I'm also not working with you personally to address specific individual issues. Hopefully, though, it will help you address the issue enough that you can experience greater freedom to live the life you really desire and deserve. For further support, I encourage you to check out the other offerings available from myself and other EFT practitioners, including workshops and private sessions. So many tears of resonance and release with this today. Instant tears at “ So I need to go to great lengths to make sure everyone is ok, no matter the sacrifice to myself”. And from the 5 minute mark of “but I can’t take on someone else’s pain, and I can’t take it away for them” onward, so many tears..... of my family, of teenage trauma with friends and my first love.....wow it went everywhere! Thank you Brad ❤️

Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ i just can’t imagine being without these tappings. You are a true savior and a divine worker. I was shamed so much as a child by my coach, made responsible for his feelings and everyones feelings, gone through whole lot of emotional abuse and came out broken with the toxic shame personality. I have spent most of my adulthood working through the issues and I am sincerely so grateful for the work you do. Some days I just cant believe how healing the words you say are! Thank you, Brad! Please know that your work makes my life better every single day. May you be blessed🙏

Through this process I realized I took responsibility and blame for my fathers death and my mothers subsequent grief when I was younger. I know see how this has perpetuated through all areas of my life to the point where I feel bad for succeding if it makes others feel bad. I feel free to release this now at a cellular level.
Will definetely repeat this tapping, Thank You Brad.

I’m a fixer and immediately felt this one like a lump of stone in my throat. I changed the wording a bit to include that I’m not responsible for taking on people’s issues or making things better for them.
With that - I realized that ultimately everyone has their lessons to learn and that they need to address to so they can become free!
My neck and shoulders always hurt because of the weight that I’ve put on me and the lie that I’ve been telling myself. As I tapped the tears poured and released some much neck pain.
I’ll be rinsing and repeating this for sure!
    Thank you Brad!

thank you Brad. being a life-long people-pleaser has become a living hell having some very real, very serious consequences now. it's like i need everyone else's wellbeing in tact in order to feel my own. I just can't do it anymore but feel tremendous pressure, guilt and anxiety because of it. I've been having a horrible drawn out anxiety attack the last month or so and it's gotten worse the last couple days. I've been using your videos the last two days and they've been helpful in bringing down the intensity at least temporarily. i know i'll be okay. i choose to release all this anxiety and find my own peace. thank you again.

Setting myself free from the responsibility to hold people’s pain AND hold relationships together. Tapping on this all week has uncovered the deep trauma under this behaviour- the fear and trauma of disconnection of course. It’s under everything. Trauma from disconnection in my life, but also the awareness of the disconnection trauma of generations before me, especially between parent and child. This pain of disconnection, and fear of more disconnection is the weight that’s always in my heart. And the deep fear that it will always be like this because it’s so easily triggered by other people’s pain and isolation. Hence the ‘carrying others pain’ in hopes it will lighten their heart so they’re able to isolate less and connect more. It’s always about connection, and why the areas of grief, shame and loneliness are so stirring for me....it’s always about our basic human emotional need of connection 💛

Thank you, Brad. I love tapping with you and have done so for 7 years. I chose this video because of something that happened this morning in my family. I don't normally get very emotional while tapping, but this topic and your words brought up a whole ton of stuff from my childhood, and I was crying. Wow! I took a sip of water and moved my body (ran up and down the stairs), then did it again. The 2nd time I didn't have such a strong reaction. I had ideas of what steps I can take to move the situation along. And I have something else to work on and release from my childhood. Thank you, thank you, thank you 💖

I started it with tapping with you. I am a recovering Codependant and People Pleaser, and tonight I set myself free from feeling responsible for my abusive mother’s feelings with this video.
I also did the one on Allowing Miracles, and I am excited to see what will happen. Today is the start of the rest of my life! 😃😃😃

Day 7: Setting myself free of believing I need to help take away people’s pain, or prevent them from more pain. Yup.....this is the role I have played, to ease their hearts in hopes it would lead to less isolation, less pain for them, AND me ❤️ And now out comes the fear of what caused this trauma behaviour, this belief in the first place. I am so looking forward to (and at the same time so fearful) of the journey through this pain and our the other side 💚

I am carrying so much grief from knowing about the trauma my brother experienced with my Dad, and how this trauma (and his resulting disability) has created such struggle and heartache in his life. It's been completely heartbreaking to watch all these years.... and so, I became my brother's keeper (like you said) - I have thought all my life that it was partly my responsibilty to shield him from any more pain of poverty or trauma, in any way I could. Even with the financial help all these years, it has not 'saved' him..... I can't save him....😪

I love being able to turn the corner on this, as taking on the responsibility for other people’s feelings (etc.) has resulted in an pain in my shoulder, which goes away when I tap, but then…it comes back, because I haven’t changed the over-responsibility factor…until now!🎉❤ thank you for helping me to let go of this need to be so responsible for stuff that isn’t mine. If we're not responsible for other people's feelings, then why have any standards for human behavior at all (courtesy, politeness, consideration of others, etc)? If someone rips John off, steals his wallet, or vandalizes his property, then it's John's fault for getting angry at it and not the criminal's. Same thing for being arbitrarily judged by a stricter standard than everybody else when there's clearly no sane reason to hold him to a higher standard.a torture-murder victim's relatives are blameworthy for their own anguish. If John's own wife of 15 years cheats on him, I suppose it's also his own fault for being upset about it? That is just a cheap psychological game that legitimizes victim blaming, or simply giving people a reason to do whatever they want regardless of the negative consequences toward others, or both. No thanks.

I hear what you're saying, but I hope you'll consider another point of view, as I think it may lead to greater well-being. Or not - but I'll throw it out there anyway. ;)
I'm certainly not suggesting that we are not responsible for our own behavior. But ask yourself, do you feel it is your natural inclination to want to cheat people - to hurt them - but only refrain from doing so for fear that you'll be responsible? We have those human standards because I believe that, when we are happy and healthy, that is our natural behavior... I am courteous to others simply because it feels good to do so, and I have no control over whether that makes them feel good. And does it seem fair that John has no option that involves peace of mind? It would be absolutely normal for him to be upset - but I don't believe it is a requirement that is forced on him. Crappy things happen to us sometimes, but I like to believe I have a choice about how I respond.
      I hope that is beneficial.
