Symetrical AWD is an enormous advantage over the EVO. Subarus have half power to the rear axle by default, meaning you can initiate a drift like a RWD car while still having power on the front axle. It's definitely different than a rear-wheel drift, but it ends up cornering like a beast. Even the EVO can't keep up.

Now you got cars that pretty much drive themselves with dct transmissions, launch control and drift mode and their drivers bragging about how great they are at handling a vehicle! LMAO those chumps don't even know how to shift their own gears.
That's the standard differential setting, the STI uses a limited-slip torsen differential in combination with a secondary electronic differential that can change the power distribution and lock rate.@Alex-wb2yw

But, Subaru with its more mechanical AWD system with the DCCD being the most technologically advanced thing in the car being comparable to the EVO’s technology is impressive.

Especially because they are much harder to do properly compared to RWD cards

the evo can send power side to side, on asphalt the subaru isn't the machine the evo is
