Gleaner T Series combine aims to deliver quality and value

AGCO has officially launched its latests Gleaner combine line with the Gleaner T Series.
Our own Bern Tobin is down at Farm Progress Show at Boone, Iowa, this week to take in the show and got a first look at the new combine.
“This series delivers lightweight performance, superior control and premium grain quality for the best value in your field,” says Robert Ross, marketing manager for Gleaner.
In this video, Ross highlights the key benefits of the GL T series, including right-sizing these machines for several different farms, powering up the drive system for quick moves, and ensuring upkeep and servicing is quick and accessible.
Ross says that operators will appreciate the new Dura Drive ground drive system to get to and between fields faster, staying there longer and providing better control while there. The shift-on-the-fly, two-speed transmission provides a wider range of speed with fewer gears, including a maximum speed of 25 mph.
The combination of the CVT-style multifunction lever and the internal braking system puts better control in the hands and at the feet of the farmer, he says.
“Great grain quality and cleanliness are provided by the Natural Flow processor and two-stage cleaning without sacrificing capacity or grain loss,” Ross says. “Achieving more cost-efficient and cleaner harvests is made easier by the Series’ simple design and reduced repair time.”

Gleaner need to be shipping combines over to Europe for the smaller size of farms there.
I bet they would sell many there.

Still same old combine, they really hit a wall with that design, it can't get any bigger or any better, won't surprise me when AGCO drops them altogether

Best cleaning system out there , simple easy to maintain machines .Not everyone needs 800hp with a 60 foot front and a never ending mortgage.

They cant get any bigger or better with the gleaner design yet they dropped the massey combine. A simple machine they could have went bigger with if they wanted.

MF are still producing combines, just look at the IDEAL series.
