@@eliteactionjoestudios8325 Pat, I do a little of both. I have some of the stuff from when I was kid and sold some stuff off when bills needed to be paid. As my kids got old enough to take a interest in the mid to late 90's I started getting Joe's for my kids and a few for dad..lol I have some vintage and some classic collection and 21st cent. stuff. The boys liked the modern stuff so... I do customize and make things also. After catching some videos from you and the other AOA members made me go unpack a few and repair some of my vintage guys. As for the shoulder, I am hoping to return to work on restrictive duties for four more weeks and get set free..lol

The Ertle Top Cop and Top Jake was a dream project for me. Don Levine was gonna use the old GI Joe hard hands for the figure but I suggested we use the Captain Action hands. I had to sacrifice the pair that I had from my Knight of Darkness figure (which had Captain Action hands)but it was totally worth it. I had designs for a SWAT set but the line never went past the firefighter and the cop set.
Wow. you worked on that with Don Levine? Awesome! I have a few of them and the hands set them apart from hard hand repros in my opinion. I love the Knight of Darkness and have two bodies that I put custom AT heads on, easy head swap. I bought a repro Captain Action to do the same type custom. Great stuff, hey what is your name by the way? We watch all your stuff, your work is epic, we can't wait to use our Dinos in the summer.
@@eliteactionjoestudios8325My name is Robert. Yeah, Don and Kirk Bozigian had me design and produce the prototypes and masters for both sets. I thought the hands had such a natural pose and can fit all kinds of scenarios that I had to make an attempt to sneak it in the project. I still have all the original patterns and master sculpt for the equipment. The Scots Airpack was my favorite.
@@MacSOGAdventureInternational Well Robert nice to meet someone with a hand in such a great 1/6 item. These are very under rated and we wish they would have kept going with them. The hands were a big part of making them so well done, great job and thanks. We will think of you every time we track one down and add it to our collection.
