What is Mirtazapine 30mg ( Remeron )?
Mirtazapine is an antidepressant, it enhances serotonin and norepinephrine neurotransmission by serving as an antagonist at presynaptic α2 receptors.
Additionally, some of the antidepressant activity may be related to antagonism at 5-HT2 receptors. It is also sedating because of its potent antihistaminic activity.
So it is used in the treatment of depression.
And it is available as 7.5 mg, 15 mg and 30 mg tablets. And also available as 15 mg, 30 mg, and 45 mg orally disintegrating tablets.

Just popped my Mirtanzie 15 mg before I watched this bern feeling really anxious
Genuine question...has there been Clinical Studies on the efffect this drug has on people who are NOT suffering from depression etc?
I was prescribed this drug when I was slowly dropping my methadone dose for help with sleeping. It worked pretty good. Thanks for sharing. 🌌
Can I ask how much you came down? What dose did you get to before stopping?
@@becky2235 yes Becky I started dropping my methadone dose from 80. I dropped by 5 every 5th day till I got to 20. Then I dropped 2.5 every 5th day till zero, I started the mirtazapine at about 50 and it got me about 3 maybe 4 hours sleep. This was all done in rehab and wasn’t really that hard but when I left rehab I was left on the mirtazapine and I stacked on the weight. I should have stopped taking it 2 weeks after zero ml. Hope this helps ✌️
@@becky2235 sorry should have added still on mirtazapine 3 years later. Awful med but did what it was supposed to do at the time.
Currently using this to help with alcohol withdrawals. Surprised at how well it's helped

I started on mirtazipine as a sleep aid after having insomnia for ten years. I now use it as an antidepressant on 45 mgs, which I take at night. I notice the one benefit they do not mention in these videos. Mirtazipine does not affect your ability to have sexual feelings or orgasms.! For myself after many years on antidepressants, this is a major benefit. For any young people or anyone in a relationship this should be a factor. It can really help you feel human especially as you begin to recover.
For myself, so far so good! I hate putting on weight but I have rediscovered binaural beats, so I will be using this to fight weight gain.

Iam on mirtaz 30 mg for past 3 months for my insomnia, eas sleeping well. But for the past 10 days insomnia reappeared. I have no anxiety no stress, exercising regularly. Should i titrate my dose from 30 to 45 mg??

Doctor, I have problem waking up at early morning at 2:30am every day. i go to bed at 10pm and wake up at 2:30 am always, is it ok to take tab mirtaz 7.5 mg middle of my sleep at 2:30am so that I coul 0:13 d go back to sleep after 2:30am. Kindly advice me. Thank you 🙏

If it is so sedating because of its antihistminic effects then why not taking antihistaminics, wouldn't they be better because they dont have effect on so many other rexeptors?
I'm not sure but when taken in low does is immensely more powerful than any other antihistamines I've taken. At 7.5mg or lower the antihistamine overwhelmes the serotonin and norepinephrine effects

I prefer 30mg because I like the psychedelic effects at this dose, closing your eyes is like switching on a television.
@@psilocybe8135 Yeah I had dependence for years from long term 7.5mg use. 30mg makes me drowsy but no way as strong sedation.

@matchpoint yeah. I was a night owl before. My sleep routine improved from day 1 after taking it.
Iv hardly been getting sleep and when I do it’s in the morning at spend the whole day sleeping, I hardly eat too, once a day in the late afternoon an egg sandwich with veggies when I have the motivation to cook, but now Iv not ate in two days just binge drank alcohol and was able to eat a small freezer egg sandwich on the third day didn’t drink any thing but water it’s past 5am now and took my first 15mg remeron some of these side effects will be good for me, I didn’t want to have to be in meds really but wasn’t completely against it if perfer not taking meds that aren’t natural but I’m going to give it a chance and try my best to make sure I’m taking it correctly and take it long enough for it to actually work properly I used to take citalopram and was so bad at taking it everyday at the same time and the side effects sucked

I went through major depression panic attack last year. Doctor prescribe me
Setra (sertaline) 50mg and Mitrazin (mirtazapine) 15 mg.
Both two times per day. I dream everyday. Normal dream or nightmare. Its killing my sleep quality. At morning i woke up exhausted. Doctor told me it Will slowly bring back your sleep quality. Anyone facing same problem?

Hi, the mirtazipine will make you sleepy no matter what time you take it at. Discuss with your doctor whether you need to take the mirtazipine during the day. I would suggest going on you tube and listening to a guided meditation for sleep, relaxation video, I have started listening to binaural beats but it has to have music.
Use something you enjoy before bedtime don't depend on the mirtazipine alone. I wish you all the best.
