Stil sheat zinc alloy transmission..on 3s have no life
I think they have a steel upgrade part now for the reduction gear. So, hopefully, this will go someway to increasing the longevity of the transmission? 👍
@@theminiatureconstructionco4556 well, it's not just about that, the entire transmission is made of zinc, including the gears in the diff
if you still sell a car for 3s, at least add steel and sell it a little cheaper, if not, leave it for 2s
@@make4all2000 perhaps they should do a 3s pro version? With steel transmission components for a bit extra cash? My brother has used HBX diffs which have lasted longer than the MJX ones. Unfortunately speed sells and the 3S compatible Hyper Go's are doing really well at present. Even if the transmissions aren't.
I get 1 yesterday,they change the name for Jetwood.Pretty fast on 2s really don't need 3s
They are plenty quick on 2S!
We got one in Australia it's pretty good, how to lower the esc to slow it down can you investigate
Isn't there a 70% and 100% power output switch on the transmitter?
The buggy is cheaper because it got smaller wheels, no led bumper, you can't install the esc fan because of the shell hugging the chassis, no skid guard on the shell, less body clip.
Id agree with you on some points. But its only got 1 body clip less and it bet it costs just as much to produce the buggy wheels as the others. And the 16208 doesn't have a fan on the ESC either only the motor. Same as the 16207. So there's not that much difference. 👍
@@theminiatureconstructionco4556 i guess it's much more than a choice to avoid sales issue rather than material reduction costs, if it were the same price most people would choose something that looks bigger with the led lights, leaving the buggy overstocked

As with all MJXs. They seem to be a good budget truck.👍
Due to high speed rolls on concrete, those shock towers were getting damaged on mine. I converted it to truck. This is an absolute beast with 40mph top speed.
That's an interesting point about the shock towers. They are super quick for the money. That smaller motored MEW4 of my brothers flies!! 👍
Such a great price for what it is. I really like the thick drive shafts and overall look of this beauty. It's awesome that you tore it down to show us the inner workings. Thanks for sharing.

This is approx £80 vs 16208 truck at £76 at banggood. Which do folks think is better buy? this buggy comes with 3s battery mind.
You will not be disappointed with either to be honest. 3S would be mental though. Get the multi battery deal too! 👍👍
@theminiatureconstructionco4556 can the 16207 parts be interchangeable with the 16208 and Mew4, will the 3s battery from 207 work in the 208? If not any other 3s recommendations?
@luvadealme all the parts are interchangeable apart from the chassis I believe. And I think both will run on 3S, apart from the MEW4.
