How To Parallel Slide
Вставка
- Опубліковано 28 вер 2024
- In this video, we'll learn how to start parallel sliding and show a few ways to apply it to your skating. There's no real shortcut to getting good at slides - it takes a lot of practice just like anything else, but this exercise should get you headed in the right direction. Leave any questions you have in the comments and I'll do my best to respond.

Wow, your videos are criminally underrated! This is top tier quality, I hope you will get more views especially with this new wave of popularity that skating has now, you well deserve it.
Thank you, and thanks for watching!
I said it last time, but you make the best quality tutorials on UA-cam. This is great!
Super flattering. Thank you for watching!
so true
100%
I agree with him
You are so right !!
VERY well done guide! Can't wait to try this out. Thanks for the tips!
OMG hi kairos good to see you here!!
Young sir, I have seen some rollerblade videos in my day, but you sir slide to the top with ease, I salute thee!!!
Really love your videos! Benefited from your Wizard videos! Would love if you could do more videos. What about Magic Slide? 😅
I like this Chanel really good tutorials
Wow i like it!
Damn man thats so good tutorials!!! keep it up bro :D
practicing slides has really chewed up my wheels in only two months! I don't mind going through rubber but wow they go fast!
Good job bro👍👍
Shared with my local skate club!
Awesome. Thanks for sharing!
Rollerbalding doing my best. You absolutely need two things: more subscribers and more content.
Seriously. The skating is solid. Edits are great. Very good A E S T H E T I C.
Love it!
@@leonardticsay8046 Thank you! I appreciate that. I'm working on more content and hopefully subscribers will follow
the music wow Nice Choice!
Genesis Does What Nintendon't.
Please make a video on parallel turn
I didn’t even watch the tutorial and I realised that I could alr do it lol
Good
Wow..
hey balding, do u think round shaped or bullet wheels are better for all those movements especially curving? :)
I like rounded profile wheels in general, but that's just my preference. I use both profiles on different setups and wouldn't say one is better than others - It really just comes down to what feels best to you. 👍
nice
🙏🤩🥰
Can you powerslide on all terrain or just smooth surfaces?
You can powerslide on whatever your wheels can handle. Bigger wheels can handle rougher terrain
Anyone has the reference for the rollers
Are you a pro skater?
Nope. Just an enthusiast
Please come back and make more videos. Your videos are extraordinary. Never seen such a quality content.
Wow you make literally the best tutorials here for skaters like me who just started their journeys, Hope to hear from you soon. As in jump tutorials, overcoming fear while going downhill and controlling speed yoh. Will be much appreciated
This was great! Will you come back to make videos again!?
25k views, only 4 dislikes, great job! 😃
Do wheel hardness/softness matter?
😺😺😺
what kind of stiffness are the wheels suitable for this
I find that harder wheels make it easier to slide further, but any good quality wheel will work. The wheels in this video are 85A Hydrogen wheels and 84A Street Invader wheels
super helpful. many thanks!!
Great tutorial!
Such a great tutorial, love how you tied it all together at the end with a montage of your own creative skating!
Awesome video as usual!! Good work making these videos! I’ll revisit it a few times for sure.
Does the Frame helps to Transfer some work yo the slide? For example, having an Endless/wizard or simple rockering helps to slide better?
GREAT VID Can you make an tutorial for MAGIC slide , this video really helped
Thanks! Glad it helped. I don't do magic slides... that's one I still need to learn
Thanks 🧙🏼♂️ 🔥🔥🔥
Your video explanations are awesome! Please make a video explaining how to skate side ways (both feet pointing to outside, like a penguin :P)
The most detailed explanation I've ever seen.THANKS
What wheel hardness should I be looking for to slide with?
I would recommend 86A or harder. I personally ride 88A and 90A wheels
@@Rollerbalding thanks!
Best tutorial I've seen for parallel slide!! Keep doing new VIDs, can't wait to see more.
Great progressions in your tutorial. It makes perfect sense and can’t wait to give these a go.
This is really, really fantastic. Never seen any rollerblade videos so comprehensive and super helpful animations.
Dear sir, please keep it up!👍👏👏
It is awesome 🔥 you explain in a very nice way 👍
These are the best tutorials.
Awesome video, can't wait to try out this tutorial n see if I can get that side down
Daaaang... you are living the dream. Both Wizard setup and Endless. Maybe get yourself NN Frame also to compare all the 3 alltogether and set the huge point there. Would be damn great.
I'm not really interested in NN frames. Wizards and Endless are all I need :)
This is a great tutorial, thanks! I’ve been kinda winging it until now. Time for some dedicated practice.
Thanks for the best tutorial on pararel slides! Could you break down how to do 2 continuous one-foot gazelle (360 deg) at 2:19?
And when the world needed him most, he vanished
What type of skates are you wearing?
Really good way to learn this technique. This is one of the most advance stops made to look easy.
Sweet skills!
This is the best tutorial I saw for parallel slide. Thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful! Happy sliding.
Do more tutorials pls, your vids are excellent
Incredibly helpful, what kind of wheels are recommend to do slides? I feel mine are just to rubbery to even start sliding. Thanks!
I personally like 85a to 88a for slides.
Im here for the music😂😂😂
Loved this! This was extremely helpful to me understanding the concept and execution.
Wow your skills are insane
Nice !! Thank you
When you say front leg, which do you mean? The one that is forward in the scissor position or the one that leads the slide?
Sorry for being unclear - yes, I mean the foot that leads the slide.
Thank you! 🤗✌🏼
What durometer?
What boots are you using WinZip h the Wizard frames?
I use the Seba SX carbon boot with my wizard frames
very well done video and great explanation, big like! Greetings from Italy
great
!!
Hey, thanks a lot for these great tutorials. Im just learning rollerskating and i was searching for tutorials about this paralell slide. I watched quite a lot inclueding Bill Stoppard, Shop Task etc. but i must say yours is the first where i don't miss anything. So i decided i will watch all your content, as it came out to be the most understandable for me, and i realized you have very few videos. But i felt optimistic about new tutorials from you, when i saw that your last videos were uploaded quite recently. Perfect videos, they look very professional, and they came with perfect timing for me :)
I am safely going at high speed, doing slaloms for slowing down, but i use T stop mostly and feel like i need to have a quick stop too.
I wish you would also make a video about powersliding. Also going backwards is one of the main abilities that i lack, if you could just explain it in a comment how to master it, that would be great.
Thanks for your answer in advance :)
Regards,
David
Hey David, thanks for watching and I'm glad the videos are helping. There will be more videos in the future.
In regards to going backwards, I think the biggest help is getting really comfortable looking over your shoulder. Keeping your weight over your toes and off of your heels is also important. Other than that, it just takes practice like anything else.
you know it's illegal to post such video with such quality and dedication without getting lots of views and subscribers, top quality, keep it up.
Please do more tutorials! I just subscribed in hopes of more!
Hey man please dont give up on making videos, you're tutorials are great and very easy to understand i have done really well sliding by watching you're tutorials. Love from thailand!
Awesome, I'm glad it helped. Keep it up 👍
Great again - thanks!
good video, appreciate the time to produce this. Who is the skate though?
What skates am I riding? These are Powerslide Imperials with Endless frames
4×90...?
So clean and complete.
Some of the best if not the best tutorials on YT mate, especially wizard! Subscribed
hello by chance does it work in rocket setup or flat
I don't notice much of a difference between the two when sliding
とても参考になります 有難うございます
Okay I understand :-)
which one is the "front leg"?
In this case it's my left leg. The leg on the Outside of the turn
Love the music choice reminds me of a Gran Turismo tutorial
Great vids man! Looking forward to incorporating this into my every day skating!
This method has to be the best to learn parallel slide. I'll give this a try. Thanks for sharing, mate!
Simple video but very helpful 🍻 thank you 😍💞
The music!!! The shorts!!!! The steeze!!! God bless America.
These videos are amazing. Some of the best tutorial videos I have seen for any practical skill yet alone skating. Please keep it up!
Does the hardness of the wheels matter? Mine are 82A
It can. I skate 85a and above

Good tutorial, but that background music makes it nearly unwatchable.
