Hi David. I too am glad the brass monkey weather is over. I do find these nagging tweaking and maintenance jobs quite satisfying when you've been looking at them for quite some time. All the best for the season mate.
Merry Christmas David, to you and your family, not forgetting Tommy of course. Excited to see what you get for Christmas. I asked my wife for roofing panels and insulating gear, I'm going to be busy in the new year as I am now semi retired 👍🌲🌲🌲⛄⛄⛄
Hello David, Good to see you in the workshop, shame about the roof. Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Take care. Paul,,
Hello David. Make sure that roof is ok! I fitted some castors to my Bosch table saw and had to make wooden 'boots' to suit the sloping support stand legs. Also I recently bought four more castors which I will fit to my router table legs. The band saw has larger castors fitted to a wooden frame. You may be interested to know that Axminster Tools were selling 4 castors wIth brakes including postage for £16.92 whereas Trend were selling 4 for £33.00 plus postage. The castors make things a little higher but that saves stooping. Don't forget - fix that roof. Another interesting video thanks . Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year
Sir thank you for uploading a video so near to Christmas. I purchased and used a similar chainsaw mill as you have. I didn’t know that one can get a rip chain for that purpose. I used a standard chain and it takes a while to cut a board as I am sure you know. I look forward to seeing what you do with your rough timber. Happy new year!
Great upload as usual, love your stuff. There was an issue with that table saw cut at 15.10 though. It didn’t look safe at all. Too short a surface area against the fence compared to the length of the piece you were cutting. Really enjoy your stuff, thanks for your uploads.
Dont worry I was a professional woodworker for over 20 years and been doing woodworking over 35 years. If I didn't think I could do it safely I wouldn't do it. The area against the saw fence was 15" which is loads and I have my hands equal distances from the blade and gently pushing both meaning the workpiece will stay straight when cutting and will not kick back with the right hand positioning. Thanks anyway for your concern and thanks for watching 🙂👍 David
Hi David, wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for the New Year from sunny Florida ( although cold and grey for the next few days! ) 07.22
Hi David great video as always , glad it’s warmed up for you. Here on the Canadian prairies its -30 c to night so I haven’t been out in the shop today I’ll sit and binge watch your videos . Thanks for the videos and have a merry Christmas and a wonderful new year.
Happy new year David, all the best for 2023. It always amazes me how much kit you’ve got stashed away in your workshop! I noticed that you have another benchtop planer, in addition to the Titan one. What make is the other one and is it any good? I’d like to get something for planing pallet wood, including being able to square up the narrow edges of the boards. Thanks for the video, I enjoyed watching it 👍🏻
That's a good idea David, I am always struggling with my planer/thicknesser, they are a heavy lump aren't they, and noisy too. Merry Christmas to you and your family and of course Tommy. Take care.

Thanks Tony, the bench top planer is a really cheap one labelled NuTools. Had it years so don't even know if they are still in business.
