I was a Covid virgin since Covid started even when it was at its peak. Fast forward I first got Covid around a week ago (recovered literally a few days ago). I had lost my sense of smell as well, everything tasted so basic since day 3 of contracting the virus and I lost my appetite for food for a few days. Took me around 9 days to fully recover from Covid. I'm kinda sad that I ain't a Covid virgin anymore :(
Back in 2021 when the delta variant was rampant, I lost my sense of smell and taste too but got it back within a couple of days. Severity and duration of symptoms differ from person to person! A superior human like yourself should regain it in no time.. Get well soon
I lost my sense of smell and taste for about 3 weeks to a month when I had Covid. Started on Day 5 and continued on even after I was negative. Was cooking one day and didn't even realize the pot was already burnt dry because I couldn't smell a single thing. So yeah. Eventually my sense of smell came back but still not getting my sense of taste at 100%. Also, the brain fog sucks.
I also got covid after so long…also felt disappointed with myself. Almost went to take the test to see if im immune. Good thing didnt waste the money to check. Took me 3 whole days to recover.
I also got covid19 about a month ago which I've never gotten before not even when the delta/ omicron variants were widely spread all across my city. Yes, I did lose both of my smell and taste senses, but i tried to train my smell senses with something pungent. Eventually my senses were getting better in about a week or two, so I hope you will get better soon at the same rate as mine or better
i lost my sense of smell/taste twice last year (once regular flu, once covid) and it took like almost 2-3 months to fully recover and be able to taste properly again… one of the worst symptoms to get fr
Losing your sense of smell sucks so much if you're a fragrance lover. When I lost mine for a few days (luckily), it was devastating being unable to wear my favourite bedtime scent. Or spritzing on a citrusy freshie for the morning. Or taking a whiff of my perfume rack everytime I walk past it.
Mentally, I felt EXACTLY the same as you. I didn't lose my sense of smell. In fact, it got stronger....but altered. Some things just smell terrible to me. My bodysoap smelled horrid as did some foods. The taste of some foods taste disgusting to me. I can't eat chicken rice or duck rice, or things like that. Toothpaste also has an annoying taste and smell now. But I can feel things getting back to normal now almost 2 weeks later.
I SWEAR THERE’S SOME COVID WAVE GOING AROUND NOW LMAO bc i’m literally in the same situation LOL 😭😭 also thought my immune system was just superior and that i’ll never get covid in this lifetime then boom i got a fever that knocked me out for two days & i’m now a newly-joined member of the normie club 🥲 stay strong my past comrades of the covid virgin club, keep going and don’t let the devil take you 🫡
I was a covid virgin since time immemorial as well. Until I was humbled by it 2 weeks ago. I thought I was invincible, until the ART told me it was not just a normal sore throat I had
Same here at the same time! One of my usual nicknames is similar to yours (chogaijin). I got my nickname while living in Japan, but got Covid while living in Singapore...
Good immunity system can beat a covid!! And like you just told you have good immune system! Which is good! I hope you and ur mom gets recover from covid soon! Take care bro and stay hydrated and healthy!! May God bless u and ur mom!!❤
I got COVID in March 2022, I was really ill and lost my sense of smell right away. In May 2023, my sense of smell has finally come back. Actually, while I am back to normal in that sense, I have a permanent background smell of car exhaust. I'm sorry you were sick. :D
Didn’t realise that contracted C+ can be elaborated into such exaggeration😳😅 you’re indeed a good comedian😂🤣 Bruh, my lil sis without any vaccination contracted C+ got recovered in 5-days, only showing mild symptoms of 1.5 days fever & loss of taste for 1-day. You should be fine too. Take good care.
I just contracted COVID for the first time last week too and for the longest time, I have always been proud of keeping my "winning streak". I would intentionally try to jinx myself to prove that I was special 😂 But alas, I was not a superior life form nor The Chosen One and turns out I was just one of the masses, a weak SHEEP
I debated to leave a comment saying thanks for describing what it's like to have Covid because I never had it and didn't want to jinx myself now I'm paranoid I might actually get it. Noooooo!
But at least you were not 'cursed' with the after effects of covid! I got it twice and each time it'll leave me with this persistent dry cough that lasts for months! It also left me with dry scaly skin. the sense of smell usually comes back in a week or two.
Here i see myself in sushii😂😂coz i sometimes act like this!! Like he be saying demonic virus😂😂ily bro! Jus enjoying watching your videos alot! Right now just i watch your 6-7vidoes!😍😍i enjoy very much u made my day!!thanks sushiii bro- U have the best content ever🥺pls keep it up!
I got covid in last yr Oct, everything was fine until this year Feb I had a very bad flu then fever n cough came but art test is negative. Couldn’t smell or taste anything at all even aft I’ve recovered fully. Aft about 2months later I can finally taste but everything taste weird esp chicken, there is a strong pungent taste which jus ruined my appetite. Currently, I still can’t taste food that has light flavour, some food taste totally different b4 I lost my sense of taste For sense of smell, up till now I only can smell the scent when it’s overpowering, only at certain parts of my day my sense of smell is better😢😢😢
Congratulations! Welcome to the weakling club! My appetite returns around 7th day? That was suspected Delta strain though. Sun helps recovery a lot. Do go get some vitamin D.
Haha i feel you... i find getting covid fun. Like you, the spartan in my body is very strong 😂. The only different is i dont get fever or loss of smell. I only have brain fog, muscle ache and manage to sleep 14hrs a day 🎉.
Lost my virginity too 3 weeks back, lost my smell after a week I contracted that shit, and GOR GOR I feel you, I missed smelling my own shit and farts. Thank god it came back 2 weeks later, and I can indulge on my shit and fart smell again. Hope you get yours back soon GOR GOR
I used to be jealous of you whenever you brag about being a covid virgin. I know how you feeling bro after being not humbled by covid for almost 3 years and then you suddenly getting it right after all the chaos went down, eh ya, it sucks like nobody will be shocked

That's the 1st thing that came to my mind.
I lost my sense of smell and taste for about 3 weeks to a month when I had Covid. Started on Day 5 and continued on even after I was negative. I was also humbled just a couple of weeks ago. Losing your sense of smell is the weirdest shit ever. Thankfully it came back after about a week.
I also got covid after so long…also felt disappointed with myself.

Loss of scent and taste could be devastating sushi!! Brace for the worst as it could be long term or permanent!! huehue
i lost my sense of smell for prolly 5 months and now its sensitive than ever👍 gws sushi you have our condolences
I had covid 4x. The last one was in mid-April this year. I was also given Paxlovid, which cost $1k++ for a 5-day course.
i lost my sense of smell/taste twice last year (once regular flu, once covid) and it took like almost 2-3 months to fully recover and be able to taste properly again… one of the worst symptoms to get fr
As a covid veteran I never lost my senses, I guess it's a case to case basis..get well soon Sushi kor kor

Welcome to the club
i think the sense of smell is the least important out of the 5 main ones.
My loss of smell lasted for 3 days and when it came back it hit me hard...i was ultra sensitive
^5! I just got it for the 1st time last week too, while overseas in HK.
Luckily you bought Kirakitty's jar before you got the Virus
I debated to leave a comment saying thanks for describing what it's like to have Covid because I never had it and didn't want to jinx myself now I'm paranoid I might actually get it. Noooooo!
