Even though I know the story, and the highlights, I just like when somebody takes time to edit and narrate everything that’s going on and making it much more dramatic, love this video!!
Good recap. I remember watching that game 7 at work and yelling out loud when he hit that buzzer beater. Too bad he decided to move on after such a legendary run. We'd still be competing imo if he stayed.
Ong we was pissed like I swear all of Canada was hype like we had a day where we’d where basketball apparel in our school cuz of the dub Uniform school too so yk it was special
We played that team in the Eastern Conference Finals in 2019, it was brutal. Once we lost Game 3 in 2OT there was no containing the momentum that the Raptors had.
With all the built up, I was looking forward to finally seeing how kawhi changed NBA forever. Was disappointed but still a good video and great story telling
Him hitting that shot lol If he didn't sixers most likely win the finals and tries to keep their team, and who knows what happens to khawi and the raptors... all of that didn't happen because of khawi hitting that shot, and being on the raptors that year.
Kawhi's success helped other players ask for a trade and this player empowerment definitely changed the NBA. But that's not what this video is about. Still a good rewind despite the mismatched title.
sixers broke up after they finally lost to raptors cause kawhi beat them. i think he was saying the sixers team wouldve changed the game but kawhi altered the course of history
Great feature about the only game winning shot in a game seven during a playoff series! I'll never forget this game. Kawhi had to deal with so much adversity and criticism the year before. When he made that shot it felt like he fully redeemed himself and he had a rare moment of an emotional outburst. Got me teary eyed back than I have to admit.
@@adeeltheking123 Exactly. Nobody expected the Raptors to win it all in the summer before the season. They were such a fun team to watch. Im not a Raptors fan but that team made playoff history. Its was the antidote in an era defined by super teams.

My brother has one, we have been lifelong 6ers fans (I’m 15 and he’s 13 so growing up all we saw was horrific seasons). Simmons and Embiid looked like they would be one of the best duo in the NBA and I always loved Embiid and always will. As for Simmons, what a baby, I can’t believe he’s a pro athlete and can’t handle being fairly criticized by his own fans.

Sixers a good team right now without Simmons. New talent getting to rise up. Letting Jimmy Buckets go was a terrible mistake. Imagine Jimmy and Embiid as the duo in the Sixers.
I watched a lot of the rewind series from Secret Base. This is certainly longer, possibly slightly less concise, but your enthousiasm for basketball wins out and makes this a very enjoyable watch. Well done and thanks!
Like everyone in Toronto was pissed about Game 1 against the magic cause the ending lmfao. But anyone whos a real raptors fans know that pretty much every year no matter what the team the Raptors lose game 1 lmfao
He's still changing the nba being a outstanding scorer and defender having every move you can think of post moves flashy dunks and dribbles blocking like no other and doing it with ease and this season he added a new move to his bag which makes him a goat... a goated benchwarmer
2019 was my favorite year of basketball in a long time. Besides the 76ers, there weren’t a lot of powerful trios in the league but instead, a lot of duos.
